Great pics, but I dont recall all of them.
Cool cars. but not as dependable as they are today.
Thanks for the memories.

Yep I can recall all of them and a lot more from my own childhood and throughout my kids childhoods. Great Memories. A simpler, easier, slower paced life. Wish I could go back knowing what I know now.

Some of those pictures were not even that old. The computer should have been a commodore, TRS-80 or PET. By Windows 98 I was on my 10th operating system. What car had a 6 speed manual? I only recall 3 and 4 speed manuals from those decades.

Can't argue that, my grown kids remember many of them, I remember starting the truck by pressing the lever on the floorboard

I had a Timex Sinclair computer with the optional 16K RAMPAC. Memory was a cassette recorder, and the monitor was an ordinary B&W TV. I later moved up to a Tandy HX-1000 with DUAL 3.5" floppy disk drives and a full 16 color CGA screen (640 x 480 pixels) and built-in DOS 3.11.

I did have Windows 3.1 on a computer at one time. Windows 98 SE was a solid system as I recall. Seemed like in those days, every other version of Windows was good, with the others being a dog or minor upgrade.

My first 2 stick shifts had 4 speed manuals, and my older brother had 2 cars with a 3 speed column mounted manual transmission.

I remember those. And the dimmer switch was on the left side of the floorboard. Phones had rotary dials and were connected to a party line. And, my first computer was a Post Versalog Sliderule. Lol
