What are the symptoms of this issue? I have 2 things going on and I'm wondering if either are signs of this problem.
1. Audible clicking of something in the front end at low speeds when turning the wheel left or right, like slow-speed maneuvering into a parking spot.

2. The other day while moving slowly (5mph) up a hill in a neighborhood, there seemed to be a pronounced grumbling from the engine/trans. No idea what it was but haven't noticed it since.

Not sure why you are all stuck on a 1 inch puck. A 1 inch puck does not take a component (CV axle in this case) that should last 100k+ plus miles and degrade it to a 10k mile part. If you believe this, you absolutely know nothing about vehicles.

This is the beginning. You are 100% going to need new axles in the next 10k miles.

The service manager whom I'm actually pretty friendly with, thinks the clicking is normal or just part of the natural play in the steering rack. I'm wondering how I'm going to get him or his tech to see the real issue. Is there something I can point to and say "hey double check this"?

How far are you into your warranty?

If you have plenty of time/miles, I would just drive it until its more profound where the dealer cant say "oh thats normal"

Trust me it will get much more noticeable soon if you drive the car much.

I'm 14,500 mi in on my '24. Otherwise, like the truck quite well.

Stock? because a 1 inch puck will make your truck fall apart! 😂
Yeah totally stock. I'd love to put an intake on it but I can already imagine the dealer blaming everything under the sun on the aftermarket intake, so, I just don't bother.

My truck is currently at the dealer getting 6 recalls done. When I did the oil change last week, I noticed the CV boots were leaking. Hoping Ford throws me a bone and replaces the axles under warranty before they really become a big issue. (Just bought the truck used a few weeks back. Running slightly oversized tires and it probably has a small lift, though the PO didn't give me much info on the mods done to the truck.

I'm sorry, but you are wrong there. Changing the angle that much definitely does have an effect. To what degree? Who knows. But most cut that lifespan in half and if yours were already faulty... well...

I'm still on your side here, but it's no secret and maybe you should look into why. Pucks are terrible and spacers can only do so much. There is a reason the Tremors are the height they are and not a quarter inch more. This is not an on frame truck. Lifting unibodies has it's limitations and it's a VERY thin margin. Throwing just a puck on changes nothing else for the driveline and now, not only is your suspension limited and bottoming out even during every day driving but your driveline angles changed with no spacers for the rest of it. Regardless, the spacers stop somewhere and it's usually your PTU/Tranny. So now those angles are changed and you are not compensating for them.

I could understand the defense on puck lifts if your CV's didn't fail, but they did. So really you have no idea if it was due to your pucks or the potential fault in the CV's. Some of us here have acknowledged both, but the finger is still pointing at you. I mean, you gave them a reason. Was it worth it? So far from everyone before you it hasn't been.

I literally never claimed it has no effect. I know it has an effect. My friends Subaru has a 3 inch lift (pucks) installed and they got 80k miles on their cv axles instead of probably 150k miles. A 1 inch puck is not going to cause CV axles to last 10k miles. There is something inherently wrong with these Maverick Axles.

That's funny... because I spent almost $4k on my previous Subaru lift and had multiple failures before 20k. I've lifted everything I've owned outside of a Mustang that was my first vehicle. It happens man, and it's a gamble you take when lifting. And yes, there is 100% a right and wrong way to do it.

Passive aggressively joking about your truck falling apart seems to be the opposite to never claiming it has no effect.

You have a lot to learn and if you want to spend the money to show this forum that your pucks aren't doing what they are well known for doing, by all means, go ahead. Not a very good test subject though when we know they have failed on stock setups too. What we needed was your breakdown after a failure without pucks installed. That would have been the icing on the cake here. Instead, it's just another case for FORD to blame lift pucks.

Again, I do believe there are faulty parts from the factory or at least were, but you gave them ammo.

I believe the stock ecoboost and hybrid are an issue , if i can ever get someone to come over to compare to the tremors i have we can solve a lot of this.
I believe the stock tremors could use better quality boots, and better grease.
But I think they should go on the std ecoboost just fine and solve that issue . The hybrid ford just needs to use a tremor equivalent with the longer passenger side with support bearing and different input splines .
Cost difference is $406? I think for the Tremors , not sure posted reciept in another thread + tax.
So 150 -160 more to upgrade to the thicker shafts, ends and more balls per end , unsure if there is more plunge as i would need a ecoboost one to compare to.
