Anyone going to MaverickFest?

The fact that their website has all photos from stock photo websites on their about page for their team doesn't help credibility for their organization (easily found by doing a google image search on them). Is this organization/event actually for real, or is this site some sort of spoof?

Looked at this a few months back.
It's actually a "Focusfest" but opening it up for other Ford products. (Rangers, Mavericks...)
About a three hour ( 190-ish mile) drive for me..
Checked on accommodations, closest would be almost into the Quad Cities area..

There are many Ford based groups that should be in attendance. Focus, Bronco, ST(I assume Explorer), and some others I think.

Well, I'm guessing we won't have 10 Maverick's racing, lol. I think that was the prerequisite for the $500 payout. I would think I have a pretty solid chance at winning, but you never know!

Cordova is about 2-1/2 hours from me, so I might make a day trip of it.

Not going though, way too far for a car show in a non-showcar haha

386 miles one way................will be there following weekend for AMC races-Cordova is a great track with lots of shade and nice shelter house-lots of friendly people work there. Wish I could afford both weekends. Anyone planning on going may find cheaper hotel rates just across the river in Moline ,IL . Quad city area has a lot of lodging choices within 15 minutes of Cordova .
