Still the same locations near both of my houses. The last Line-X I got was in my 2015, which is still holding up perfectly. My newer trucks have Ford spray in bedliners. I think the factory has stolen most of Line-X's aftermarket business, so declining sales is a bigger deal to the franchisees than the payment arrangement.

Similar situation with me. Had a Line-X nearby me do my F150 (at the time) in 2019, new truck in 1Q2024, found out the Line-X near me had gone out of business (covid casualty). Next nearest Line-X was ~45 miles away. Found a competitor (Partiot Liners) nearby, a bunch of ex-Line-X folks (they did mention Line-X's corporate direct change as motivating reason for their departing), they were a hundred $ or so more expensive than the Line-X place but were very passionate about their work and offered a 10-20% discount on tonneau's purchased through them. Very pleased with the work.

All the ones around here dropped them due to the franchise agreements. The guy I have been using put whatever he is using now(They are all still in business just using different products) and I cant tell a difference.

My local Line-X dealer is now using https://phoenixliners.com/

They claim it is just as good.
Good for them. I hope they're twice as successful as they were with Line-X.
I read so many stories of successful companies, selling out to these Private Investment Capital companies and then going Belly Up.

Have a great weekend.

Daves Bread.

What a rabbit hole if you've never heard of it.
