What does that mean? What's an OTD-Fitness Vehicle Line? Am I required to excercise?

Ford has always restricted XL production to approximately 23% of manufacturing capacity. Since XL orders have exceeded the 23% constraint, XL trim has been limited availability. On an individual basis, it means any given order may or may not be produced. Allocations are also a key factor. Dozens of posts on that convoluted topic.
Good luck. The odds are not in your favor.

My private offer for the '23 carryover order expires 9/30/2024. Original order placed 9/2022 for Hybrid XL. From what I see on the scheduling notes, it looks like I still have a chance at getting my truck. Anyone in the same boat as me, and does anyone have any idea if Ford will extend the expiration to cover the last month of production if this happens? If not, it looks to me like Ford was just playing a game to let these private offers expire, and then, suddenly have XL's available.

Based on comments from forum members, yesterday I contacted my sales guy about possibly deleting some options from the EcoBoost XLT I ordered 5 months ago in hopes of getting it produced. He said he'd talk to the inventory manager about it this morning.
This morning he called me and said my Maverick showed up in preview status! His sales manager then got on the call and explained that to me somewhat. He said that with it in preview status today, it's likely on Friday that they'll get a VIN and it will be official. For that reason, he suggested not modifying the order, which of course I didn't really want to do.
I see that spec changes cut off on 8/29, so if I don't get a VIN on Friday I suppose I can still modify the order.
The sales manager talked about the frustration with Mavericks. He said Ford keeps ignoring existing orders and building $40K Tremors on spec that he can't sell because no one wants to pay that much.

Yeah, they seem to be set on building what they want, and if there happens to be a custom order for it great. Maybe they have a contract with suppliers to provide a certain number of each optional part? If the supplier cant provide more Lariat seats or 4K wiring plugs at any cost, I guess Ford cant build them. Or they are profit hungry and want to build $40K Tremors.

I'm sure it's the profit thing. Ford has forgotten how to be satisfied with profit from volume production of low-priced vehicles. They want big margins on each vehicle instead. That's why they abandoned the entry-level market.

Yes, the expiration will be extended. My 2022 to 2023 rollover got extended multiple times while I awaited delivery.

You think that will happen even with the restyle? It's a significantly different vehicle now.

2024 private offers will be extended until the last of the 2024 models have been produced and delivered.
I seriously doubt there will be rollover offers, given the 2025 MY refresh.

Well, I don't have the official email from Ford yet, but the sales guy gave me my VIN today and it looks like the truck should be built the week of 9/23!
