HUD via OBD no longer working after recall

Just had mobile tech do the BCM recall on my 24 Lariat. Very nice way to get this service. However, my HUD is no longer active (from OBD port). Is there something I can do to make this active again? I haven't tried hooking up laptop to check Forscan. Hopefully they can't disable my access to OBD somehow.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

does your HUD also display Navigation? I am looking for one that will show the speed and Navigation.

I will find link to it. Just bought cheap one on Amazon. It will NOT display any directions, but I was not looking for this. There may be one's that work. I love the HUD for speed. You get very accustomed to it very quickly (and are a bit lost with out it then lol). But l got it mostly for rpm - to display of when the ICE is running. This is representative of what it shows,
When no ICE _
ICE running _ _ _ _
Acceleration _ _ _ _ _ _ (variable by rpm)

This is basically the only tool I use to try to maximize pulse/glide cycles. I'm heavy footed from a stop, but feather whenever else possible.

Most important to note though, it does cycle maybe once per minute through other screens, because it thinks you have shut down engine (because ICE is not running). Some may find this annoying. It does not bother me and I doubt there is any way around this with the hybrid.

Note that if you have a hybrid, HUD's that plug into OBDII connector will not work. I bought a cheap one and hid the wire to the power source (in this case cigarette socket. VERY easy to hide wires to get to middle console. Here is what I bought just for speed. Works great: https://a.co/d/izInNai

This is not correct. Mine works perfect, minus the cycle through shutdown screens. My whole point of getting the OBD HUD was monitoring RPM (ICE running vs not running), which is something a non OBD one cannot do.
When I have a chance I will post a quick video, including showing the cycling through screens so anyone interested can fully understand what they might be looking at if they buy one.

Thanks and my apologies. It must have been the cheap brands I was looking at. I only wanted speed anyway for me, but the other options would be nice too

Glad you got it working again. I chose not to use the OBD port for the reason you cited, and instead purchased one that was USB powered. No other connection needed. Mph and compass, but most of the other features are already on the Maverick's display.

Took a quick video. 25 MPH speed limit small road.
RPM shows as dashed bars below Mph.
1 bar = no ICE
4 bars = idle
More bars and becoming blue = increased RPM
I use this exclusively to maximize gas mileage.

About 40 seconds into video it cycles as off, because no ICE for 30 seconds. First screen that shows is 0.2 (mileage). In a ICE vehicle, this would be a full trip odometer. Second screen is battery voltage. Then cycles back to MPH
