No, 14 blocks it without a rooted phone or the official AA wireless adapter in developer mode. You should be able to run it on anything older.

You do NOT need a wireless CarPlay adapter. It actually has less lag using wired CarPlay setup straight to your phone with OBD FUSION running

I have the older version of the cheaper white Carista you linked and it works great. Pretty much any wireless bluetooth ELM327 OBD2 reader will work with OBD Fusion and CarPlay

It will not pair with my wireless CarPlay. It detects it, but then errors out. Tried a few times

Hmm. Try connecting from the Obd fusion app on your phone to the OBD2 reader you have plugged in. Then try opening the app through CarPlay

I bought Fusion yesterday and it works with my er ELM327. But how do you get it to show more items on the dash? Mine only shows water temp, fuel used, throttle position. I want Boost and IAT at the least. Boost shows on the phone but not the dash.

Go to the OBD fusion app on your phone WITHOUT CarPlay connected. Then go to settings, preferences, CarPlay and then you can add multiple screens monitoring what you want on each one. I recommend 6 PIDs per screen because if more you have to scroll.

I have only had it working for less than an hour so I have not figured out which PIDs I want displayed over and above the Hybrid Battery charge level, but I like it - well worth the $12.99 CAD!
