Sorry in advance I didn't read through all the pricing and I'm not that schooled in Ford's order process. So now that the hybrid is standard again does that mean the $1,500 surcharge is gone and if so does that mean the AWD hybrid ,assuming a $2200 charge for AWD, is only about $700 more like for like than a 2024 FWD hybrid? I realize they've added some different standard equipment but has anybody figured out how much more an XLT AWD hybrid with some added equipment standard is compared to the 2024 XLT hybrid?
I’m pretty sure you are correct. Watch @fordvideoguy ’s video on his YouTube channel. I believe he mentioned this very thing.

Emailed my salesman this morning right before he emailed me about the news. I will probably put in an order as soon as he has access to them.

first is plainly true, second is false. I like hybrids a lot more than EVs, for the same reason I know you're wrong - I have significant experience with internal combustion engines, a brain, and I use it.

lol it's actually you who doesn't understand the hybrid powertrain.

the 2 motors are not the same. one is the traction motor and the other is the generator / starter.

start here:
I'll probably get a hybrid but I kinda like them less than an EV. Well a phev anyway. With a plug-in id probably rarely use the ice so it seems wasteful from an engineering pov to lug around an engine, fuel tank, exhaust etc for nothing

2.2k seems steep for AWD but the jump from XLT fwd to AWD seems next to nothing. This pricing makes zero sense. If it remains here is my theory. XL to be dominant in FWD where as XLT in AWD because why wouldn't you spend that extra 1k to go from XL awd to XLT AWD.
IIRC, $2200 is what AWD costs on the Escape.

IF this pricing is right, it means they'll build MANY MANY MORE XLTs with AWD than FWD. There could be volume savings there.

so really tempted on buying one 2025 but XL Ecoboost awd and make it lobo version lol
I think the difference that the twin clutch RDU will make when driven hard on a track or fast road would be hard to give up.

there's a guy somewhere with a 23 tremor he removed the suspension and installed coilovers. that's basically a Lobo.

I almost wish I would have waited for the MY25. But very happy with my MY24.

Since they have removed the climate control buttons to the screen, does this mean they will be able to be changed by vocal command?

Also, glad they had added a second factory for production!

Seeing a bunch of people not happy they don't have a push button start, I never really thought it was that difficult to turn a key. Same with the power seat options, once I have my seat set, I am not moving it and nobody else is driving it. Maybe it's a height thing for some people.

Good luck to all the people placing orders tomorrow! Let the (hopefully short) wait begin!

Does XLT Hybrid AWD has heated seats or does it need some upgrade?

when you’re used to walking up to the vehicle and just opening the locked door by pulling the handle sitting down and starting it without having to pull keys out of your pocket or in my wife’s case out of her purse it makes it convenient.
as for the seat. I wish it had the three options for saving seat positions. When the wife drives it she’s moving everything and I get in and have to put it all back it’s just inconvenient.
