I found it Interesting reading Ford's press release for the 2025 Maverick. Looks like they eliminated the XL and XLT model ecoboost ,only offering lariat and tremor. The ecoboost offers no advantage in towing compared to the hybrid now for 2025,and they even lowered the horsepower compared to previous years ecoboost.

I don't know if they are phasing out. But offering the Hybrid in AWD and 4K tow does kinda remove any incentive to get the EB except on Tremor.

I know for $41,000 I won't be trading my tremor for that ass ugly new one

I see where hybrid lariat AWD MSRP starts at $38+k and Tremor AWD at $41+k.

Yeah, but the Lariat appears to be pretty feature complete at that price other than the lack of 4K. Not really much needs to be added to it unless you want a moonroof. My sticker on my MY23 was ~$37,800 with remote start, moonroof, and SIBL being the only things I didn't want.

Yepper! Lowered options some to help streamline production some. I thought the hybrid AWD was 4k standard, but I was reading pretty quick.

No, they are eliminating FWD EB Maverick. EB AWD available in all trims.

I made the "No XLT and EcoBoost" in the other thread. Somebody corrected me that it's still available. It's just not considered a "base package", whatever that means. I guess we'll know when the product order page goes live. Or Tim Bartz will tell us.

Not 'phasing out' EB. Removing FWD EB because the take rate was too low to continue offering it.

That's not what the posted order guide shows though.

But that order guide has not yet been posted to fmcdealer (the website Ford dealers use...I just double checked)...... so I guess it is possible that that isn't the final order guide?

Still, I highly doubt that Ford won't offer EB XL & XLT Mavericks,.
