If there was a way to get 4k Tow in the Tremor, I'd be tempted to upgrade.

At a glance the Lobo packaging seems kind of awkward. Positioned between the XLT and Lariat. A street truck that is the only one getting fog lamps, standard moonroof and power sliding rear window, but no CoPilot 360 Assist.
There is more to that that can be discussed tomorrow.

No FX4 on the hybrid kinda narrows it down for me.

Hell yeah. AWD hybrid with 4k tow! 31k starting for awd hybrid xlt is not bad at all!
Yeah I think that's the sweet spot for me the AWD hybrid XLT. I'd really have to see how much the lariat adds although the seats look a lot nicer for one. I do wish they kept more traditional HVAC controls below the stereo controls though I'm not a big fan of that being on the screen it seems like it would be more distracting and time-consuming to adjust things while driving. But the screen itself is nice. Wireless Android auto and carplay is also a plus but to me the front end is a negative. It looks like some colors are worse than others though so I'll reserve full judgment on that until I see one in the flesh.
At this point in time I don't need a 4K towing package so I doubt I would get it and I figure if that changes in a few years I could always trade in

7-Speed Quick Shift Transmission? Lobo
the 8 speed almost never uses gear 2. very light throttle only. never selects it downshifting.

I would not be surprised at all if it were still an 8 speed inside and just deselects 2 electronically. that's what every tuner does already on the 22-24.

Love the new screen. Wonder difficult it’s going to be to swap out the 22-24 screen for these new shiny ones.
At least with the stock position would need to cut or replace the gray dash cross piece. Also would need to replace the HVAC control to retain four-way flasher button. So going the OEM approach certainly won't be without its compromises.

Something like @Billzilla15 's install might be better if someone were to design 3D printable surround pieces to match it in since theirs still has all the 22-24MY controls.
There likely would be more to it than just making it fit since the external radio and hvac controls are different as well. I’m sure it’s not nearly going to be the simple slap in the new screen and APIM, making a few as built changes, and being gtg like some past Fords.

And as for my own impressions….do not like that new configuration of physical radio and hvac controls (or lack there of!). Also still hate that cheap stupid looking front bumper/headlight arrangement. I think the best maverick (price aside) would be a 25 and swapping the outgoing front end to it.

Interesting. Based on that, what you are saying makes sense.

Our trans it's a 7 speed in theory
