This happened the other day in my ‘23 XL Hybrid… I thought it was odd.On my truck, a 5 degree split from set point to outside temp the fan starts blowing cold air but the A/C or AUTO. Is not on. Set point of 72 when outside is 77. Anorher was 77 and 82. Any insight? This is a 24 XLT
2024 Hybrid XL (<1K miles) - Same thing happening to me (multiple times) - "Fan blowing cold air but A/C not on". Happens whether any windows are down or not, no matter the set temperature or the temperature outside.
@Ford Motor Company - different customers, multiple occurrences, potential glitch in the system, pass along this info to Ford Maverick engineers for trouble shooting.

That does make sense. I know that the recirculated are can turn on and off on its own as well to help heating/cooling efficiency and prevent fogging.Mine does this as well when I have the air on but AC turned off.
I have a very strong feeling that the humidity sensor is what causes this. The truck automatically compensates to avoid the windows being too foggy.
