Oh mercy, that breezer would be a hard pass for me. Go the bardyard route if you don't have the factory version IMO

Maybe after / past the warranty expiration at least for me on my Maverick.

I have the slider on my 22 XLT and have opened it once. Can't reach it from the front seat and I prefer the air conditioning which is very good on the Mavericks. But if I were to look to add it to a truck that did not have it I would go the junk yard route.

I’ve been following this thread from the start, but I have to agree if I had a window back I would like to have the power switch on my dash. To me it won’t make any sense to keep climbing in and out of the backseat to open that window. A window back there would be great for airflow.

THanks for picture, I did not realize its trim was that invasive making it such a small window now. Do you happen to have a picture with Breezer removed or vented?
The stock window actually has a lot obscured by the C-pillar trim, ceiling, etc. It's just not as apparent because the glass is so much larger viewed from the outside and with the dark tint.

I totally agree.
I owned 2 extended cab Rangers with sliding back windows. They weren't too hard to reach back and open them up.
My Sport Trac had an electric window.
Manual or power, they all allowed for a very nice air flow, that eliminated the drumming/baffling of the wind, that happens sometimes with just the side windows down. My wife will not drive with the windows down on her Escape because of the terrible baffling/drumming of the wind at highway speeds.
The sunroof on my Buick Encore also eliminated the wind drumming/ baffling.
It did not matter what combination the windows were opened in or how far, the wind drumming / baffling was uncomfortable. That was the only feature I liked of my sunroof.
Take Care

I usually park in garage but last night was outside with back window pointed towards sun so I could see the interior. I could clearly see how much C-pillar trim is bigger than the pillar looks from the outside, kind of crazy.

When weather is good enough to not run the A/C (south carolina), I love being able to open all the windows! Adjusting the back sides or rear a little bit cuts the buffeting. We ordered ours without a sunroof because we had just had to take our minivan to dealer for sun roof water leak (I couldn't get to the drains to clear them). But now wife jokes about opening the (non-existent) sunroof LOL.

Back in the early '70s and before. You could order a car ala carte meaning.
If you wanted power steering you ordered it. If you wanted power brakes you ordered it. If you wanted AM/FM radio you ordered it. If you wanted tilt steering wheel you ordered it etc.
In and around the late 70s early '80s car manufacturers started to package options. if you wanted a tilt steering wheel you got cruise control like it or not.
If you wanted power windows you got power locks too.
Then they started making different trim levels XL, XLT, LARIAT with those options added in if you wanted them you have to you had to get the whole trim package. As it is today.
I hope this helps take care.

You are 100% correct! I had to go for a Lariat just to get a push button start. My wife insisted on that, no fumbling looking for a key in cars in at least 10 years. Not sorry I bought a Lariat, I like all the things that came with a Lux Lariat, but had no choice.

Pleather seats in the Lariat were a no-go deal breaker.
Here in the desert Southwest.
Where we get True Ambient Air Temperatures of 115°+ in the shade. The temperature inside the truck can be 147°+ give me fabric seats. Even the armrest is too hot, but I don't have to sit on it or even put my arm on it until it's cooled down from a/c's air flow. No air flowing through leather or pleather seat unless it's ventilated. Till then I stay with my poverty cloth seats.
Definitely not messing around with seat covers. Been there done that.
Now the only one who has a seat cover is the dog.
Take care
