Hi! I am looking to transport two e-bikes with my Mavi. I am open to hitch mount, bike pads, ramps, etc. and I am looking for product recommendations. I am weak as crap so lifting is harder for me. Thank you in advance!

Personally I don't like the way hanging something off the back on a rack makes the truck handle.

Have you considered walking the bikes up on a ramp? A 2x12 might work before you commit to an aluminium one?

You will leave the tailgate down and strap one bike to each side of the bed.

This requires a second person in the bed to steady the bike. You will again need someone in the bed to help you walk it down but there is no lifting.

Even with a hitch mounted rack you will need to lift the ebike onto it so rolling on a ramp may be better for you. Just a thought.

Thule 2" hitch mount T2 Pro XTR. Works very well for e-bikes.

I'm a 1Up fan. I believe they also offer ramps. They're very expensive, though.

I bought a 2 bike hitch rack from Harbor Freight. $40, quite light but seems to be pretty sturdy. The one downside is that although it folds down easily to open the tailgate, in the Mav it's still bit tall and the Ford emblem hits the locking knob and bends it. But as long as you don't have to open your tailgate while carrying bikes, it may fit your needs.

Thank you all, very helpful! The advice about still needing two people for the rack is good advice.
