Added some ambiance lighting!

Added some interior lighting!

Basically got a USB C Male to Four USB Female Cable Adapter and some USB LEDs.. some double sided tape and done!! The USB LEDs you can change to whatever color and turn off with the car.

Why 4 split cables? 1 for the driver, 1 for the passenger, 1 for the cubby and 1 to charge my phone with (so I don't lose that functionality).

Yeah I wish I had the extra cash for lariat with the ambient lighting because my XLT with luxury package is so dark inside especially the cup holder area at night.

I remember doing my own blue ambient lighting kit with a push button switch and a dimming knob for the cup holders footwells in the front and back and the rear console of my 12 f150 xlt. Even put white ledsin the footwell that came on with the interior lights, I bought everything from SuperBrightLEDS.com. I believe I picked up everything for under 50 bucks may do the same when I get adventurous for the Maverick.

I'm going to wait until Ford recognizes the "sleep issues" the Maverick has by sending a recall updated that changes the charge level from 80% to 95%. I really like this idea though.

Yea even with the Lariat the cup holders are not illuminated. More than a couple times I've had to take my eyes off the road to find the cup holder. Usually I can just wiggle around and manage to find it but those times when you can't it's pretty dangerous.

VLED's had an awesome kit I put in my previous Tacoma that illuminated everything, and some users have gotten creative with ways to illuminate the cup holders on this sub too, but I do wish cup holders were something they would have considered while including the ambient light.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll give it a try. I've been using a USB light plugged into the cig lighter socket and aimed down at the cubby. Your way is better.

Not sure how I missed this one before, but how did you run your cables? Are they visible or were you able to tuck them in? If you don't mind posting some daytime photos of that and where you mounted the light ends I would appreciate it...thanks!

Tucked them under some of the trim pieces and added some double sided tape to hide the parts i couldn't
