I for one am interested in an easily installed shield for the open area behind the driver side rear tire. This unshielded area allows road spray/debris to lodge or strike the right taillight housing.
Currently I’ve crudely installed a temporary shield of .125 plastic. This material will suffice long term once I refine the final shape and install method.
Perhaps your team can develop a more elegant solution.

To go along with what someone posted about different colors, I would think this would be something that could easily be powder coated right if you don’t care for the color options.

The powder coater who refurbished my rusted trailer hitch on the F150 said he could easily do this skid plate . He has about 140 choices on a color chart.

As an option, several people have added another storage on the driver's side. You can get all of the parts pretty easily. The last time I checked it was less that $100.00 on ebay.

I ordered this skid plate for my hybrid today after changing the oil. The plastic/felt bottom cover was pretty beat up from gravel and road debris. I just want some better protection for the oil pan especially since I'll be installing an Eibach lowering kit soon.
