I have started a series of posts capturing those accessories and minor mods I have completed on my ’24 hybrid XLT. In doing so, I have chosen to break it down in parts. My first cvered the pickup’s bed. My interior was the second and posted just recently. I still need to edit that post with the addition of photos. This is my third Maverick, so many items have transferred from one to another and been covered in similar postings for the earlier Mavericks. My hope is that what I list for my truck might serve to give someone an idea for their own.

- Install AUXPOWER 6 Gang control module in engine compartment
- Installed Temu 60” under hood dynamic LED running light
- Installed Temu under hood engine compartment light kit
- Hard wired x3 LED Raptor style grill lights

All these lighting mods are controlled by a switch panel mounted on the interior’s upper center console.

In someone else’s earlier post, the question was asked how well the under the hood light kits illuminate the engine compartment. The third photo above shows the lights in the dark with no other illumination. I would have no problem troubleshooting a problem alongside the road with the light provided.

I just want to see the dealership mechanic's facial expression whenever you take your truck in for a recall.

Curtis - I piked up my truck from the dealership this week after having an appointment to have the taillight recall completed and to troubleshoot two service indicators appearing on the dash display. The dealership was intending to charge me $500 for the service stating my mods were responsible for the faults outside of warranty coverage. I was prepared to vigorously debate their position. After an hour of discussion, I left with my truck and nothing out of pocket. The full story and their work order can be found on my earlier post, “My ’24’s First Faults”.

I now remember reading this about you! I am glad you fought them on it. It's like if they see something electrical that is aftermarket, it must be the problem. Just check the dang computer for codes and go from there! If I was the service writer and I saw your setup, it tells me you know what the heck you are doing. LoL
