In-channel EGR Vent Shades

I had a chance to look at the "Matte Black" In-channel EGR Vent Shades installed on a used Maverick for sale ... as has been previously reported on the forum, it blocks about 35% of the visible area of the passenger side rear view mirror when looking at it from the driver's seat.

Not so bad on the driver's side rear view mirror. If I were to get it, I would opt for the "clear black" version.

Also, I would immediately remove the stupid "EGR" logo.

The smoked ones make It difficult to see part of the mirror also. How much I guess could depend on your seating position. I’m 5”4 and have my seat pretty high and pretty close to the steering wheel so it probably blocks quite a bit more for me but I don’t know if I’d say 35%. The drivers side made the blind spot from the A pillar bigger for me too, especially on left turns.

I just installed a set of these on my Tremor, It certainly cuts down the visibility but I wouldn't say 35%. Neither side blocks the mirrors for me, I'm 6', but it takes a little getting use too. The first thing I did was peel off the EGR logo. Comes off pretty easy.

It's enough at 6'1" too. But I do like the looks of the matte black ones too.

took a few days to adapt to the right side mirror with my smoke visors.
wait, y'all got EGR stickers? I demand a refund must have been a supply chain issue

Installed the smoke grey. The way I have my right side mirror adjusted it cuts out mostly the view of the side of the truck.

Had to try a couple of different sets since to get the right curve since they don't make a set for Maverick yet. I think they were for a Ram 1500.

Same view for me at 6'-1" , only really blocks that top corner on the passenger side as shown which is mostly the truck not the road view. Left the sticker on

Installed mine Saturday. Right side looks a lot like photos in post #13. You get used to it pretty quickly. I had them on my Bronco Sport & currently on my 18 Tahoe.
