This came in today's mail. I was so excited to get it, as I have been told by others that they were very happy with them, they fit really well, it helped to organize a deep pit of a center console storage box. I put mine in the console today; they don't sit right, and the console lid won't close! Anybody else have any trouble with these? Is it, indeed, just a bad fit, a bad mould? Or am I doing something wrong?

Looks like you might need to rotate it 180 degrees so it looks like this picture

I did already try that. It sits high on the left side when I do that, and the lid won't close at all. I think it's just a bad mould. 😪

I got the cheap one on Amazon for like $20 and it's a tight fit, required some trimming with a razor blade. Maybe this one needs a lil trim as well?

Is the bottom tray going in all the way? Is anything underneath it that might be pushing it up so it doesn't sit flush? Insert the top tray by itself and see which tray is the problem.
I purchased just the top tray. It's perfect for my needs.

Update: it fits! I had to "finesse" it a bit, as it did appear to be ever-so-slightly warped. I really like it and did NOT want to have to return and re-buy!
Thanks, All, for your input.

Do you have the boxes in backwards? The console opening is not quite square, so it has a very tight and sticky fit the wrong way.

Got it! It probably was a tad bit warped, but I got it in, and now it fits and is easily removed. It just needed some convincing. 😂

You installed it backwards. Also your expectations for fit and finish might be a little high for a $20 item purchased from a Chinese retailer selling on Amazon.

@bbhaag It wasn't backwards. I tried it every-which-way. It was slightly warped. It's better now and fits fine. I'm very happy with it now.
My only "expectation" was for the damn lid to close!

Sounds good. Like I said an expectations check wasn't out of the question. Anyway glad to hear you got it to fit properly after some trial and error.

When I sold my previous vehicle, I put all the console junk in a clear gallon zip-lok bag. When I got the Maverick, I just dropped the same bag in the console. I leave the bag unzip'd. If I need something from it, I just pull the bag out and can quickly see/retrieve what I need, w/o having to F with removing trays and hoping nothing spills from them. When the armrest's down, nobody can see the bag, anyway.

Cheap - and it works. And no rattles (at least not in the console)!

We did the trays loving them in the bottom I have the extras tools for adjusting the roll up. wheel locks, the power take off for the bed, that is not used yet. clean micro fiber cloth stuff like that. next up I keep a led flash light some extra batteries and stash a pair of my sun glasses. The top tray is the wife easy to get stuff has an old pair of glasses some lip stuff coins for carts, badge for work.
