I had the following three recalls performed this morning at the dealer. Now we wait. I did notice my Lasfits now hyperflash after the recall. I’ll update this post if anything else happens to my Hybrid.
Campaign/NHTSA# 24527/24V293
Issue Date 2024-04-26
Description The body control module bcm current threshold was improperly calibrated and may falsely detect a current overload on one or both taillamp circuits.
Safety Risk This may cause one or both taillamps to stop illuminating during a drive cycle. Taillamp function will recover with a key cycle or manual cycle of the headlamp switch. This issue does not affect the stop lamos including center mount stop lamp or turn signal functions.
Campaign/NHTSA# 24C01/24V140
Issue Date 2024-02-23
Description The instrument panel cluster ipc may not properly illuminate telltales or gauges, regulated by certain fmvss requirements.
Safety Risk Failure to illuminate the cluster display would render safety-related telltales and gauges unreadable in certain conditions. An ipc that does not clearly display critical safety information can increase the risk of a crash.
Campaign/NHTSA# 23C41/23V848
Issue Date 2023-12-15
Description Ford Motor Company Ford recall no. 23C41 certain 2022 2024 model year Ford maverick vehicles turn signal outage detection notification failure
Safety Risk Vehicle operators will not receive the intended increase in flashing rate notification to alert them that a single rear turn signal bulb is out. If the vehicle does not meet fmvss 108 intensity requirements, the vehicle may not alert other road users of an upcoming turn or lane change, which can increase the risk of a crash.
