Damn man, I got the XLT and opted in for heated seats/steering wheel BECAUSE I live in Canada. I don't know what else the Lux package has and didn't carehaha
Would've done the same had I placed the order...I just lucked out in getting access to a cancelled order.

Wow- It's been a nice spring here in Utah- 75 in the afternoon and such- Jumped in the truck at 10am with shorts on and was like DAMN its cold- Turned on steering wheel and seats
immediately-

By 4pm in the afternoon the AC gets a quick session to keep he HVAC system honest :)

Lariat without the Lux package? The Lariat IS the Luxury package. It comes standard. You can't get a non lux Lariat.

Maybe it's a 2024 thing where all the options are standard?
It was seperate in 2023... everything was seperated out in 2023... That's when they did the whole CP360 and CP360Assist too.

2024 Lariat ended up including every luxury feature imanginable sans keyless entry and sunroof.

Thanks that's what I was wondering. What an odd choice to leave that stuff out of the Lariat initially. I would have just gone XLT if that was the case.

Do you have B&O? CP360?
it confused me as well…

possible he bought a XLT with Lariat seats, this would for sure explain the wires “cut” like in the picture OP posted.

No B&O, and basic 360, not the full package... It was a weird build, but hey, I didn't have to wait for it, and got a good deal on the trade in... Loving everything else about this trucklet

huh ? are you sure ?

Lariat with no heated seats ?
Not without lux package !
Ordered my lariat tremor no lux package and saved $3000 + .
Then just. Added the spray in bed liner for 500.
no need for heated seats and wheel in San Diego .now if it had a heat pump system and were cooled like the Lincoln’s or Mercedes may have considered it .

How does a Lariat not have heated seats? Is it a Canadian thing? I would have thought they would be standard further north???
RE: Lariat w/o heated seats = My recollection is, for '22 and '23 Lariats, the lux pkg which included heated things, was an option. My '22 EB "basic" Lariat did not have lux pkg; no heated seats or steering wheel, no Sync 3, no standard SIBL, no B&O sound.

For the 2024 model year, the lux pkg is standard on all Lariats. Of course, FoMoCo deleted the keypad, heated wipers, the light in the console below the dash and probably a few other things. [Dual temp displays on the HVAC knobs were deleted early on in 2022  ]

Yep base Lariat for 23. That’s what I have. No need for the heated stuff in AZ and I saved quite a bit. I would be reluctant to buy a 24 Lariat because there is no longer a base model. They really need a separate cold weather package.

My Lariat Lux unicorn doesn't have remote start on the key fob. 2023 was a weird model year....

I liked that you had more choices. I didn’t want to pay for the remote start on the key fob. I use my phone or watch. That said I only use it when it’s in the 90s or above for AC.

I'm glad you found the source to your problem. I will refrain from commenting about "being so sensitive one can feel a marble under a mattress" reference.....................(It just came to mind, not trying to a turd), but I know others probably were thinking the same!!

Seriously though, let us know how the heated seat transistion works out. Mine came with them. Only used it once as the truck cabin heats up really fast. But depending on where you live, it is really convenient. Take care!!
Heated seats are coming along... Just need to splice the fuse connection.

Just imagine a thumbtack right at your tail bone... Poking just enough to notice but not enough to hurt... It's literally like "a thorn in my side"

That is very surprising to me to see OEM wires cut like that.
