Just wanted to share the official Hot Wheels '22 Ford Maverick Custom that'll be hitting stores in the next few months. It's about time the Ford Maverick gets some love in the diecast world. I would've preferred Matchbox to do one first since they would've made a clean, stock version. But Hot Wheels being Hot Wheels, they went with a race truck motif. But that won't stop me from getting one. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments below.

I'll probably grab one whenever I randomly happen to walk through a toy aisle and see it but I won't make a special trip for it.

I'm at Walmart enough that I will go to the toy department and look for one. But the rural Walmart's sometimes have a better selection, so next time I'm on a road trip, know where I'll be going. And agree about Matchbox, I have their Bronco Sport and it looks really nice.

I have a small Matchbox collection and would love to see a stock Maverick to add to it.

That's what I'm hoping for. I figure since Matchbox and Hot Wheels share a lot of licensing and typically make the same cars as each other, this will motivate Matchbox to come out with their own stock version. I'm hoping maybe for the 2025 mainline it'll come out considering they made the Ford Bronco Sport. If they can make that, they can surely make a Maverick. That's just my opinion.
