I'm over 40,000 on my factory set, it looks like I'll easily hit 50 plus on them.

The wife has Perelli on the Explorer. Given our southern climate, they work fine for the road. Never had an issue when we drove in heavy rain.

My Maverick has Michelins. I like them. Buddy of mine that owns a garage says Michelins tend to be his favorite as they are softer, which make for a smoother ride.

Anyone else have to replace tires at 22k? Unbelievable that they only lasted 18 months! Felt unsafe in rain and snow.

32K on my tires and lots of tread left.

Now you have all the reason in the world to put a set of 235 Falken Wildpeaks on your FX/4. Better tire, better look.

So far the Pirelli's have treated me good but I only have 2K on them so unless I want to throw away basically new tires gonna live with them for awhile.
How much road noise on those Falken's? Last time I bought a set of A/T's I regretted it for the road noise.

It's been mentioned before, that the original tires that come on many new vehicles, have less tread on them then the tires you buy to replace them.

Dealership said they were unsafe to drive as they were at 3/32

The Wildpeaks are surprisingly quiet for a A/T tire. We like them very much. For me the downside of the Pirelli's is how noisy they are. I can deal with it for another year or so.

The Conti's were trash at 15,500 but I tow the camper a lot, put Michelins on, the Defender 2's for under $750 including Road Hazard, rotation and balance at Sam's club, yes they're SUV tires, not the aggressive off road tires but I prefer quiet tires and ride. They've been very adequate for the dirt roads I travel.
Defenders are great tires. I got 90,000 miles out of the last set I had although I was driving an Explorer instead of a truck.
