So before my story, my order is still pending transfers from Jim Click Ford to Oracle Ford but I want to pass this on to help anyone in similar situations.


Some of you know that I was lied to by Jim Click Ford. They decided to add cost to my Hybrid build and not honor X price as they promised. I already had a VIN number and build date for November 29th, delivery expected in January. I want you all to know it may take work but it is somewhat possible to transfer an order to another dealer. Call Ford marketing 800-392-3673 and be VERY NICE to them. They can put the request in for you to have the order transferred. It needs approvals from all over so expect the process to take 2 weeks and it is possible to be denied. Be sure to get the case number before hanging up so you can follow up on the status if nothing happens after the allotted 2 weeks. If you don’t get a case number they didn’t put a request in for you. The first time I called the lady I talked to didn’t do anything but told me a manager would call me back, don’t let that happen as no one will call you.


BE VERY NICE! They write the story for the managers to approve! BE NICE! Don’t get upset.

Let me build this up for you.

Ordered June 18th
Wait for build this fall
August find out dealer didn’t put in order correctly
September - get a build date
Early October - find out your dealer is charging ADM and not going to honor x price like agreed. You spend Weeks trying to negotiate. End up reordering some where else and find out hybrids are nearly sold out. Estimated delivery now a day before never.

You call customer service for the third time waiting on hold for 1 hour each. The first two didn’t help at all but gave you a run around.

Finally a third person answers who does what she can and is a rock star ⭐.

I don’t believe we would all be nice through all this bull

It's just disgraceful to change the rules in the middle of the game, as that dealer did to you. Not sure how some people are able to look into a mirror, honestly...

much appreciated, I think most hybrid purchasers will have some tough decisions on delivery, except those with no money down - which I am not one of- additional money for dealers is like blood in the water for sharks - but time will tell

much appreciated, I think most hybrid purchasers will have some tough decisions on delivery, except those with no money down - which I am not one of- additional money for dealers is like blood in the water for sharks - but time will tell
I had money down but the one thing Jim Click did right is refund me. Hopefully others get their money back as well.

I suggest you create a very "nice" complaint with the BBB. Everyone should know about these crooks. Taking advantage of a situation may give you quick rewards but it will never work in the long run!
