2024 2.0 Lariat w/ BAP, build date Apr 8. I'm gathering accessories, purchased Air Design Fender Flares and trying to determine what mud flaps are compatible. Will the oem and Mabett flares work? Is this a non issue, all Maverick compatible flaps will work with the AD flares? I did use the search function, didn't find anything specific, so if you have any advice or can point me to a previous post I'd really appreciate it.

I was unable to use the OEM mud flaps with Air Design fender flares. Won't line up right.

I installed my Mabett flairs with generic (ebay) mudflaps on mine with no modification needed. I believe Mabett mud flaps work better, because they do not conform to the fender (they are flat).

They look great, flares and flaps. I have the Air Design flares, thx for the reply and pics. I'll keep shopping for flap ideas, I'm not sure what way I'll go. I like having option to choose from, like yours.

Thx for response, the Rokblox are popular, I'm glad to know they'll fit. The oem flaps might end up as a freebie from the dealer if they have them, I know my dealership has done it before on other trucks. I appreciate your advice.

It does sound like the oem flaps might be more of a project than I want, unless the dealer installed them for free, which I doubt. Thx for the reply, good to know.

You may want to pick up one of those 200 piece push pin sets on Amazon for like $20 in advance. My OEM pins in the liner were randomly different side to side and some weren’t long enough to go through the flare and liner after install. Cheaper than getting from Ford or an auto store and will help with flares and flaps.

Yes, thank you! I need a set of assorted push pins. Does this look like the right kind? Did you also purchase any kinds of clips that come in handy for other projects?

Yep think that’s the one I bought. Used it for my project and used them when I added mudflaps to my wife’s Outlander too.

Rokblokz is also kind of known for not sending great hardware so you might end up replacing some of their stuff for peace of mind if you go with them. I originally had the OEM flaps but took them off when the reports of paint damage started coming out. Rokblokz fitted up to the Air Design flares no problem.

I recall screws rusting early on but nothing recently except the screws being too shiny. Hit mine with a squirt of black rust converter that was handy to kill the shine. Other than that no issues with mine here.

I'm going to get the pin set, thx for the heads up. I'm leaning towards the Rokblokz.

@fossil Thx for the review and tip, appreciate it.

For the love of all things holy - do not spend what FORD wants for those fender flares.

D...Did you already?
