100% buying a harness and pretty interested in being your volunteer. Would just need to plan it with you as I'd be coming over from Ohio.

I will also be using Diode Dynamics (SSC1 Pods) - this kit specifically with the Tremor bezels and brackets:

https://jjc-llc.com/products/copy-of-2023-ford-maverick-tremor-2-fog-light-mounting-kit

EDIT: Also already have my F-150 fog light switch.
ok install all your lights how they are supposed to work and i will do the bcm to fog wire install and provide the harness

Sounds like a great opportunity. Please be one of those that make the videos with a "stationary videos frame concept". The constant shaking, tilting and moving around type videos can be hard to follow. One doesn't need to hold a camera in one hand while moving around to the front of the truck then bend over into the engine compartment, then keep holding the camera while crawling underneath.............you get my drift. I actually don't watch those type of videos and search for the ones where you don't get sea sick. LoL. Just me!
i will try my best im not good with youtube stuff i prefer showing hands on

Hey @Vtec87pr1, can you explain exactly what the harness would be? (Eg. BCM connector to the lights)
Harness its A simplified Version of my work that includes 2 BCM terminals that comes from BCM FUse box too the front bumper for your own FOG lights. Left and right.

With the help of @Vtec87pr1 I have successfully installed my Diode Dynamics fog lights that run off of the F-150 switch cluster. For anyone doing this, the firewall on the passenger side is a big hassle. I recommend you do not use the official firewall access nipple thing as it just leads into the big bundle of wires already there. You have to use a screwdriver or similar tool to punch all the way through the rubber on the side away from the other wires going in to route a long piece of separate wire not found in the DD kit to connect to the custom OEM Ford terminal connecting into the BCM. You have to punch deep so have another person in the cab feel the other end until they feel it go through. An unraveled wire coat hanger taped to the end of the long wire from before is best to get it all the way down into the cab.

If you're producing en masse it'd probably be worthwhile to figure out what Molex terminal they are and just get them from DigiKey for like 1/100th the price.

Your magic never fails to cease. I bought one of those for like $16. I thought it would be a pack of 5 but nope just one damn pigtail. I better be careful with the install.

Had to return the forscan tool I got as it wasn't able to access all modules even though it advertised that it could. Should have looked at the reviews because other people had the same problems. Ordered the recommended tool and it will arrive tomorrow. I have all the programming done except for accessing the IPC to have the fog light button illuminate when activated.

I just got the Diode Dynamics kit and an F-150 headlight switch in the mail yesterday. I plan on installing this weekend. I was just going to mount a small toggle switch in the blank space on the right side of the headlight switch module until I saw this thread, which is why I got the F-150 switch. I don't plan on connecting the fog lights to the bumper harness, instead I'll just use the deutsch connectors that came with the kit. From reading this thread, I've gathered that all I need to do is swap out the headlight module, run wires from pins 6 and 7 on the middle connector on the BCM to the fog lights, ground the lights, then enable fog lights in FORScan. Does that seem right? I'm used to wiring aftermarket lights the old school way, with a relay connected to the battery. From what I've gathered though, the BCM handles power distribution. I drew up a basic diagram of what I plan on doing.

Yep basically like this . Theres no wires that goes to the headlight switch . And you dont need no relays or fuses ass the bcm. Does the whole job.

Thanks! That makes perfect sense. There's something kind of satisfying about modules that you can just swap in and out, like the headlight control, to add functionality. I imagine it streamlines the manufacturing process too.
