Again the RECALL is not for a "recall with no solution about bad crankshafts" as you stated.

You just made up the crankshafts issue out of thin air.
Pot is legal in Ohio now.. but i want some of the drugs you are on.. lol

Do you also have a Ecoboost ? It says Ecoboost under your screen name.
I wouldn't worry, Ford said they would be able to fully address this recall sometimes during the second quarter of this year I believe. As far as we know, there is yet to be a single case of a maverick actually catching on fire or having engine issues from this.
Ford does and has known it .. no way they would recall otherwise.. and yes Mavs have burned..lol

You must be the one smoking it as all of your posts about the "crankshaft recall" that never was and that engines are bursting in flames constantly (again not) are somewhere in only your drugged up mind.

When you get sober you should get informed as to what the recall is about and how it is solved:

May – November 2023: Ford’s Internal Combustion Powertrain and Powertrain Controls

Engineering teams tested several engines and analyzed historical calibration data to characterize connecting rod bearing failures for all cylinders.

The team used these findings to develop a connecting rod bearing failure detection algorithm which will limit engine speed/load after detecting a bearing that is in the process of failing, and provide notification to the driver.

Once the software was developed, the engineering teams tested its effectiveness through dynamometer and vehicle testing.

The results of the testing indicate that this algorithm will detect a connecting rod bearing failure and protect the engine from a block breach.

On December 15, 2023, Ford’s Field Review Committee approved the remedy for the 23S27 field action.

I have a 2023 XLT hybrid lux package that has the recall with no solution about bad crankshafts that could cause the truck to burn up. I love my Mav's but here is the rub. I also have a 2024 Xl hybrid on order from rollover of a 23 order with hitch and co pilot only. This will come in the next month. I would love to keep both. but wonder if i shouldn't trade the 23 XLT in because of the recall. Any comments or opinions welcome... ? Thank You.
