Hello MTC, this is my first post on the forum & l’m glad to be here.
Today I saw 53 MPG on my commute heading home from work. The distance is usually around 28-30 miles but, I made a stop to grab a snack knowing traffic would be slow going tonight. So far on this tank of fuel, I’ve already driven 11:07:26 Hrs / 257.6 Mi / 300.0 DTE.
The best I’ve seen has been 59.9 MPG, but that was the first & only time a couple months ago. On average 41-43 MPG per trip, for whatever reason since the last fill up the Maverick has been getting 46-49 MPG per trip.

Let us see a picture of your Maverick!
Hello Curtis,
Here’s a photo of when I picked her up on 7/23 about 9 months after pre order.

Base Model XL with a few options. I would like to change the ride height, wheels & tires. But don’t wanna loose the fuel efficiency. 😅😅😅

The only exterior mod has been the window visors from WELLVisors. Other accessories that I’ve added are OMT Tailgate Gas Strut for that soft opening, Klutchtech Hood Gas Struts, Organizing Tray w/ Phone Mount

Great looking Maverick! Here's mine. Got the moonroof, leather steering wheel, heated seats, power adjusted driver side seat and rear power outlet with two usb ports for rear passengers. Upgraded the power to the speakers and added a 10" woofer, added mud flaps and colored knobs for the interior. Cut my own mat for the truck bed and tailgate.

Easy hybrid owners...y'all get them boost guys P.O'd and then they'll say they are almost as good mpg as the hybrid.
Seems to be a pattern here :ROFLMAO:
🤣🤣🤣 I haven’t looked through all the threads yet, but what is the real world average MPG for EcoBoost Mavericks?

Bonus Peace Offering: (for any hurt feelings)
De Tomaso Pantera with FORD 351 Ci Cleveland, getting maybe 12 MPG it’s more SPG (Smiles Per Gallon) 😎

Thanks, it’s not a chick magnet but lots of people approach to talk about the truck 🛻!

You have XLT in Area 51 👌. I also have the power inverter 110v / 400w outlet & the charging port options for the rear passengers. Have you notice any deficit to mileage with mud flaps?

What did you use for the DIY bed cover? I’m using my rubber cargo mat from my old Land Rover Disco 2 & the rubber floor matts from an old MBZ E-Class to protect the humps & tailgate when I transport stuff in the back.

Here’s a photo of Maverick transporting new storage shed. It was really heavy but the rear suspension didn’t seem bothered. (Note, undid one of the tie downs when I thought of taking this pic)

23 XLT AWD FX4. I would call my driving, suburb driving since I am not in a city and not out in the country. right now I am getting 23-24mpg. One trip I made from WI to KS in the winter I was getting 26-27. I am only up to 4000 miles, so time will tell. It is winter, too.

I've been averaging around 27 back and forth to work but do pretty good on the interstate. I think Ford got the engine names wrong, should have called the 2.0 the Turbo and the other EGO Boost.

Hi all, I've had my truck (XL AWD 4ktow) for a few months now and I've been averaging maybe 17-18 Mpg unless I am being really easy and then I get about 19 or so. I city drive. I rarely go highways and when I do it's super short and maybe I get like between 21-23. My DTE today shows it's lowest average at about 250 for the tank. I do have a heavy foot so I feel like that and city driving is a big factor but I was curious how everyone has been doing with their mileage counts? My friend gets much better than me but does longer drives, too. Thanks in advance!!
That's good to see info wise at least. Not necessarily mileage wise. I was considering the EB. I live a little bit south of you in Bucks county but that doesn't seem like very good mileage. Makes me think about the hybrid a little bit more but I don't want to give up independent rear suspension or the extra power

My 2023 Lariat Eco Boost did something similar to what you stated. Have been driving short distances for a few weeks. Once I started driving longer 50-60 miles plus the mpg went up to around 30-33mpg. Lots of idling and short hops diminish the mpg rating. Take it for a long drive and check it out. 👍
Problem I would have. There is most of my daily driving is suburban and approximately 4 mi to work in 4 mi back. I really wanted to get the EB with the more power, AWD and independence suspension all around, but that's a big difference in mileage with my kind of driving compared to the hybrid I assume

That's what I would like the hybrid with AWD and independent rear suspension.

Since posting this and being nicer to my truck my tanks dte is at 300 miles so I'm feeling better. I'm in Bethlehem and drive the shortest blocks with stop signs at every corner it feels like lol My friend has a 2022 XLT and travels from coopersburg to Bethlehem like 3 or 4 days a week and gets much closer to 380. I don't know if that helps you at all. If I did it again I might consider a hybrid just because I do almost all local driving and don't drive much or far usually. But I do love my AWD and turbo. I just have to treat him better! 😂
