700 mile per tank club

I just entered the 700 mile per tank club. This was my second fill up The actual mileage at the pump was 49.1. This is a great little truck and I hope to get better mileage in the future when I learn more about driving it

If you start at the top of pikes Peak in Colorado come down the mountain and then cruise to the Highlands of Colorado. You might get a 900 mile range. Your story is impressive though. I’m happy averaging around 41.

However, filling your gas tank at the top of pikes peak might prove to be a challenge

Impressive. I'm still shooting for the 600 mile club. But with too many mornings in the 20s (that and a 66 mile one way drive to work) I am sitting in the 560 range so far. Hopefully when the mornings aren't so cold I will break the 600 mile/tank range.

Also, have you looked in to the Engineering mode to adjust your mpg calculation? I did mine with my last fill-up and will see how I close I am when I fill up next.

There's about 10 of us hybrid owners that have gone 800 miles on a tank. Not sure I have the patience to do it a second time.

57 mpg and 14.xx gallons.... the truck holds a little more than advertised.

GS Glenwood Springs is in COLORADO at a high elevation. Fort Morgan is in COLORADO at low elevation. Would net good MPG.

Best MPG I ever got for a full tank was 85 MPG in a Gen 1 Honda Insight.

I calculated I could drive from Mexico to Canada on one tank of gas at 45 mph.

Funny the peak of Hybrid technology came in 1999.

Ha ! Y’all are intimidating me here in Hattiesburg, MS I have around 2,500 miles on mine and am working on trying to reach the 600 club ! I now have used around a half tank (needle display) and it shows 360 miles traveled with 310 miles till empty ! If I can achieve this I won’t be trying again, I want to enjoy the ride instead of squeezing out every hundred yards I can on electric ! If one has the patience go for it but not me again ! LOL

I've managed a 600 mile tank once. It's just not practical to drive as needed though where I live so I normally get a little over 500 miles/ tank just driving it like a little truck. To all those dedicated enough to squeeze out the mega miles, I salute you!

650 here-right now with 94 miles on it reads 57.4 MPG.You want top mileage??? Drive "leisurely"! I try and take backroads home so I don't have to keep up with traffic

And winter is not the best for high MPG.
Except maybe in Florida and parts of the south-west. Whatever month you can drive without heating or cooling will be your best month.
