I waited 15 months for my 2024 XL Hybrid. Although i have only had it since December, it has been flawless and i love it! My last new vehicle purchase was a 2017 Renegade that i bought for my wife, i have been driving a used Prius C since 2016. The Maverick has a lot of features for the price.

From order to delivery, my 2023 Hybrid XLT took 400 days (exactly). I picked it up on October 21st, and have had ZERO issues or regrets! I love driving it on our 350+ round trips to see my daughter’s family, even though our car gets much better fuel economy. I LOVE this truck, and am happy that I waited for exactly what I wanted!

Mine took 11 months to show up in Aug. of 23'. I've had to do the pwr fwd search reset of the infotainment a couple times but other than that flawless.

Over 40 MPG every tank so far and loving the CVT.

I came from a Focus SE 5sp bought new in 2012. She was getting a little long in the tooth at 200K miles.

Very impressed over all for the first 7K miles.

I've had my 2023 since last March and thoroughly enjoyed it. We got a 2024 for my wife delivered in mid-January. I just drove hers today and noted that I had not yet dropped the tire air pressure sufficiently. It was delivered with around 45 PSA (like mine was) and I only got it dropped to 40-41 PSI.

It makes a big difference (at least to me), between my smooth 35-36PSI in my 2023 with 3000 miles and her firm 2024 with 40-41 PSI with 110 miles.

I don't meet your respondents criteria but in my opinion you'll have a 50/50 chance in experiencing issues regardless of model year. To me, it's a mystery, many are practically trouble/issue free but some have issues. Sometimes i think its luck of the draw on which vendors parts are in the supply bins during production. I think your chances are high on an overall good experience with the little truck. Maybe set your expectations for some minor issues and if nothing then your expectations have been exceeded. Calm your nerves, more than likely all will be fine. Congratulations on your truck getting built, hope you receive it soon. I thing your gonna love the little truck.
That’s a crap call based on, I don’t know, what data?

I never thought that I would say this, but I love the eCVT as well!

'24 hybrid.

Constant deep sleep issues starting about a month into ownership, quickly progressed to the point where the truck never leaves deep sleep mode regardless of miles driven. Hundreds of miles at a time will not bring the truck out of deep sleep.

Just topped up the battery with a charger, reset BMS, and will see how long I go without a notification. Dealership pushed back when I asked for a check under warranty so I am giving the battery a fair chance and documenting everything now before I insist. I feel like maybe my battery wasn't super healthy to begin with and the hybrid's charging system just doesn't seem up to snuff.

There seem to be several possible causes for deep sleep so hopefully it becomes less common of an issue as they find resolutions to the individual problems.

Outside of that, I absolutely love this truck.

I should have been more accurate. It's NOT a CVT. The eCVT and CVT are QUITE different. I hate the rubber band like CVT in my brothers Outback.

I'll try to do better in the future.

Not as much as he will hate when it starts slipping and they quote 11k to repair.

Two months and first thousand miles in '24 Lariat. No problems so far, did find it came with upgraded 470 CCA battery from Ford. 42 MPG average through SC coldest weather and it's not broken in yet really.
Where do I see what battery I have?

Under the back seat on passenger side, unsnap plastic cover. 12v battery is there, mine said it right on top.

After 500+ plus days of waiting my Maverick has been built and awaits shipping....
To say Im nervous about the issues that I have read about is an understatement, this is my 1st new car in many many years.
Im hoping that Ford has worked out the kinks and My new Mav will be trouble free. I would appreciate some honest input, opinions and real life experiences that would help me pull the trigger on my 2024 Maverick.
Thanks in advance!

Got mine 10/21/23 and 6000 miles. I love this truck! I had an emissions component go bad and I think it had to do with over filling the gas tank. Do not top off tank when pump shuts off your done.
drive it with the radio off get used to the sounds it makes. For someone who had never driven a hybrid before there is a lot to get used to. Become one with your truck it’s an extension of you right leg 😉

Waited 1.5 years and have had my Hybrid Maverick since 1/3/24 have already put approximately 3,700 miles on it and I love it.
Very comfortable to drive, love the Co-Pilot 360, averaging 42+ MPG and driving normal (not crazy conservative). What's not to like!!!
