Apparently you joined today so you could post a whiny complaint. Why are you here telling us this? You aren't asking for advice. You aren't offering suggestions for future buyers. All you are doing is bitching about a truck you bought. Did you really need to do that on a Ford Truck forum? Care to share the dealer's name?
it's called trolling, he caught quite a few 🐟

His review seems similar to a 1 star review on Amazon, where the majority of reviews are 4 and up. I read them but don’t give them much weight in my decision to purchase!

Weak man, a very week man indeed.
grow the fxxx up, your description has no teeth in it whatsoever, glad your Maverick didn’t get your stink all over it before moving on to a better place.

Oh and enjoy your 12 - 14 mpg in your F100

Back when I owned a 3 on the tree F100...gas was .89 a gallon so 12 mpg was ok. But yes the OP netted some smelt and I hope he is at home lifting tissues to his tears of enjoyment. I bet he owns a EB though.

Sounds like he got a lemon or something that was set up wrong. Technician on the line was upset and going to make some Gringo pay for it. Maybe he will be willing to try and Ecobeast. One never knows. Wish him the best.

I ordered my Maverick XL Hybrid in September 2022 and picked it today. I am returning it tomorrow. The truck drove fine in the city, but 20 minutes on the highway was enough. I don't think the Maverick hybrids are highway vehicles. My father's 1972 bare-bones F100 drove better. I've never been more disappointed in my life.
Good but share it somewhere else

Why would you return it instead of selling it? You can get $5,000 more than you paid for it. The dealer is going to love you.

I personally don't think you gave it enough time before you decided to return it. I've had a Maverick hybrid since Jan '23. I put thousands of highway miles on it with trips from Florida to Memphis, and two round trips to Buffalo, NY. And that's not including trips of an hour each way to the VA Hospital numerous times on the highway. I've never had any problem with acceleration. Never had any vibrations. Never had any steering issues. No problems what-so-ever. It drives and rides as smooth as glass!

It sounds to me like you have Buyer's Remorse more than anything else.

I agree with Ron, it sounds like buyer remorse.

When I ordered mine, I made sure to test drive it in the same conditions I would be using it. Also, I did plenty of research prior to even going for a test drive. I know exactly what the pros and cons of are.

I wonder if OP took the time to do some research and actually test drove it?

I am sure the dealership won't have any problem selling it right way.

Some states have laws on the books that allow it.
Also some dealers offer return within a time period.
There's a dealership here in Evansville that promotes a (presumably) no questions asked return policy - maybe 300 miles and / or 5 days similar to what the OP mentioned.

The OP complains about how the Maverick drives. My EB drives just a like a car, very smooth. I’ve never driven a hybrid so I can’t directly comment on the OP’s experience.

Since this isn't an airport , departure time not needed .
