I served 26 years in the Air Force working on the flightline fixing aircraft and I never wore my wedding ring the whole I was in!2 keys and my wedding ring. Before I retired last year, I spent 33 years as a field service tech, constantly around and in electrical cabinets. After we got back from our honeymoon (also 33 years ago), I put the ring on my keychain where it has lived ever since.

Just the fob itself. I have to use my key to start, all other keys I need are on a separate ring, don’t want the extra weight hanging from the ignition.There are threads about what's in your cubby, glovebox, etc. But not one for keys? So here it goes!

I absolutely hate keys clanging around when I drive and have 5 keys (my wife's, 2 teenage drivers, my Maverick and my 07 Escape that keeps my Mav out of parking lots) plus a house key. These things have been a game changer and are pretty cheap.After driving two different vehicles equipped with push-button starting, going back to a keyed ignition for my ‘22 XLT has been interesting.

Having read about ignition switches being damaged by too many keys on a key ring, I was a bit concerned about the same thing happening to the Maverick.
My key doesn’t have a huge amount of keys but more than the six or seven that I’ve read that were recommended as the limit.
Initially, I purchased one of those quick disconnects for the Maverick key fob, but I did not want to risk misplacing the Maverick key since at the time I only had the one fob So I devise this extra stick-on hook to help carry the load. I’d be interested in any comments or suggestions as I haven’t seen any similar post on the MTC forum.
Nothing on my key fob so it can fit into a key vault.
Keep it on my belt in a small multi tool holster.

This looks nice! Mind sharing where you got it? And does it work well with the actual key? I bought one and the key wouldn't sit in ignition with the cover onOnly thing on my key is a color matched projector. Took the ring off.
