The ignition switch in ay 2023(in my opinion) is poorly manufactured and has a lot of play. I will not hang any extra weight on the fob because of the extra wear it could cause. I almost hate to use the key, I wish it had push button start. I see troubles down the road with the ignition switch similar to what GM had several years ago.

I might be looking into adding a push switch in the circuit, theory as it might work. Basing this off the 1950 ford truck wiring for a pushbutton start.

Got it on Amazon. Works perfect with the key. It has been on since day 1.

I have FOB, Garage/Apartment FOB, Mini Maverick, and photo of my cat that passed away.
House keys are kept on a separate ring.

my House keys, Studio keys, 2 lock box keys, safety deposit key, a Octopus, and Drum Tuning Key. I got the plastic protector and strap on Temu. $5. Has a window for the logo on the opposite side. Also had a spring latch on the end I removed, and a strap holder if you needed it I also removed.

A couple keys, Key fob cover from amazon that use to be blue chrome, and my first key chain that I bought when I started driving 35 years ago.

I've been holding off to these Hot Wheels Coupe Clip keychains for a LONG time waiting on my Maverick. Had to get silicone covers to match.

Only a much thicker and bulky proximity & keyless entry remote than seems necessary. I sure would like Ford to streamline the remote. Love the proximity feature.
