I might be looking into adding a push switch in the circuit, theory as it might work. Basing this off the 1950 ford truck wiring for a pushbutton start. The ignition switch in ay 2023(in my opinion) is poorly manufactured and has a lot of play. I will not hang any extra weight on the fob because of the extra wear it could cause. I almost hate to use the key, I wish it had push button start. I see troubles down the road with the ignition switch similar to what GM had several years ago.
Got it on Amazon. Works perfect with the key. It has been on since day 1.This looks nice! Mind sharing where you got it? And does it work well with the actual key? I bought one and the key wouldn't sit in ignition with the cover on
I love it. I hate big fobs.I'm all about what's not on my key.
Nothing but this cover. Key stays in my pocket until I'm back inside the house taking my shoes off.

That's cool that you still have your old Keychain.A couple keys, Key fob cover from amazon that use to be blue chrome, and my first key chain that I bought when I started driving 35 years ago.

Only a much thicker and bulky proximity & keyless entry remote than seems necessary. I sure would like Ford to streamline the remote. Love the proximity feature. There are threads about what's in your cubby, glovebox, etc. But not one for keys? So here it goes!
I've been holding off to these Hot Wheels Coupe Clip keychains for a LONG time waiting on my Maverick. Had to get silicone covers to match.

Show yours off! Rabbit's foot anyone?
I found it on Etsy. An artist in East Texas makes them. I think it cost just under $20 but it's good quality. I'll see if I can find a link for you.Nice. Any chance there might be a link to purchase online?
Hi. I scrolled through Etsy and didn't see her store. Maybe she's taking a break. However, there are scores and scores of Texas themed key chains on the Etsy website.Nice. Any chance there might be a link to purchase online?
