I ordered a 24 Lariat hybrid with black appearance package. I ended up not taking the order, as I bought a lightning in December.

It is now for sale on my local dealer's lot, but I noticed that the MSRP is $1,500 less than what I had on my order. The window sticker does not show the $1,500 charge for the hybrid.

I wonder if they would have tried to charge me that if I went through with the order...

I see the Dealership listings with all kinds of errors on them.
Stating stupid stuff like "2.5L turbocharged engine".
Or "AWD hybrid".
But the window stickers are right.
If it doesn't include the $1,500 charge (for the 24) then they didn't even order you the hybrid.
You would have been pissed.
Wow what a change from a Maverick to a Lightning.
It doesn't seem the same person could be interested in both.

Doesn't the lariat include AWD by default, so MsRP for the hybrid is actually lower than the "base"?
Good point. A 2024 Lariat hybrid just shows a negative $720 value Equipment Group 500A

So you don’t own a Maverick?

You can see the window sticker at the dealership:

And here is the order that they initially sent me in July.

Buy all accounts, it is a sweet truck. I just couldn't pass the deal I got on the 23 lightning Lariat ER in December of last year.
The original order sheet is incorrect. As stated above, the Ecoboost Lariat comes standard with AWD which adds $2200 to the base price. When you switch to the Hybrid it drops the $2200 AWD but adds the $1500 Hybrid motor, resulting in a $720 price drop reflected on the sticker as "Equipment Group 500A".

BTW how is Citrus Motors? I had to buy my Maverick further out but Citrus will likely be my local dealer.

Looks like they built their own custom web vehicle builder and assumed the $1500 charge applied to the Lariat hybrids.
The base price is different, plus the dealer site did not include the upcharge for the Azure Gray paint,,,,

The dealer builder base price is technically correct; it includes the $720 discount for Hybrid down from the $34,855 price of the standard EcoBoost AWD configuration, but then they erroneously add the hybrid charge back in. Also the Azure Grey charge is there on the line above where it lists Exterior Color: Azure Grey for $0.

Well, the bottom line is it's $1,500 less than what I was expecting. I'm thinking of going to the dealership to test drive it just for kicks.

Really? I set out to buy electric, had a lightning reservation, but the price increases and interest rate hikes put it out of my budget by the time I could actually get my hands on one. Also, my dealership was sold to another, and the reservation was lost along the way. That's the reason I ended up considering the Maverick, new vehicle, lowest cost available, and efficiency.

With that rationale, I should have gone hybrid, but AWD was a must for me. I'd still take a lightning pro model in a heartbeat, if it could be got for the originally announced price.
