following. I agree, after 22k with the truck I don’t find the dead pedal angle very comfortable.

45+ years of driving (started in my early teens) and I had no idea the pad for your left foot to rest on had a name!

I thought by now someone would have came up with a solution I have a 23 and you're right it is very uncomfortable and if you take it up there's just a hole in the rug and it won't be long before that cause a problem

LOL me either until this truck

Also known as footrest some cars it still looks like a pedal not just something that's in the floor

Also the addition of a footrest/dead pedal makes the interior look cool, especially if the gas and brake pedal have been upgraded!!

I heard it was cheaper for Ford to make it more upright so since the Maverick is a POS tin can they chose the most cost effective angle for the dead pedal.

I understand that but they are already making new accessories and new parts I was wondering has anyone else heard about that being modified yet

I love my POS tin can
Me too. I guess we're just at this point in the Maverick's life where not even the dead pedal is safe from criticism....
