Drove Ford Mav about 3/4 mile and went into store. Came out of store, was pulling back on to main road and vehicle started rapidly beeping. A warning(red triangle with exclamation) appeared below the tachometer and a message screen came on advising me to pull off to the side of the road as soon as it was safe to do so. After pulling over, the message disappeared but the alert triangle was still on. My destination was just around the corner, so I pulled out again and started to drive towards it, but the power to the vehicle was not there and I could not accelerate past 40kmh. The dashboard read that the vehicle was using "All Electricity" and it seemed like it wouldn't switch over to gas powered. When I pulled into the driveway, I turned the vehicle off and restarted it. At that point, it seemed like every light on the dash lit up simultaneously. The steering wheel locked and the gear shift would not move out of park. I turned the vehicle off again. After a half hour, I tried the vehicle again and everything was normal. I brought it to the dealership immediately and it seemed to drive normal again. The mechanic cleared all codes and reset the PCM and said they could find nothing wrong with it and that the computer system had not logged any error issues or problems. Note: It has been -16C with the wind chill the past four or five days. Does this affect the Hybrid in how the vehicle runs ( dash lights, warning lights, etc.). Ford dealership has not seen this problem before and I am trying to find out if someone else has.
