Just to add another example of someone with no issues. But, I have a 2024. Had it for 2 months and have over 2,100 miles on it. I have left it sitting for 3-5 days and had no issues.

Who cares, it's only in deep sleep mode because the App says so? I haven't had an issue with the truck since I deleted the Fu*#!„g app! The TPS still works, the truck runs great, without Furd Pass. It's just another worthless thing to keep you coming back to the Stealership.
The truck sensing the key fob getting near the truck isn't part of the app. It is just a proximity sensor situation. It will always do that, app or no app. Kind of like RFID cards, etc. The communication back and forth may be more when you're using the app, but the truck is still communicating with the Ford mothership periodically either way. The fuse 11 I mentioned earlier is for the telematics unit only, so pulling that fuse simply disables the that from happening. I haven't pulled it on mine, because I haven't had any issues, and I drive a lot. I'm at 22K miles in only 5 and half months, so much truck gets plenty of time to get a charge on my battery I guess.
Reading all this makes me think about turning down my truck in a couple of weeks. Think I better take a break from MTC for awhile.Yeah me too Iām reading these comments . Iāll get my truck in a few days and here Iām Iām looking up this new battery thatās advertised AGM battery that you talked about this is crazy. Why am I having to think about a battery the concerned ,worry about reliability trust in the truck ,already tire of deep sleep ,non starts, low voltage ,junk batteries , I guess Iām overthinking it being carried along, just hope the best she would happens all of general warranty
I went to my dealer to complain about the constantly low battery two times.Reading all this makes me think about turning down my truck in a couple of weeks. Think I better take a break from MTC for awhile.
Yep, fuse 11 being pulled only takes out the truck communicating with Ford/the Ford Pass app to my knowledge. There were a few on here that pulled, and the truck functioned just fine with no codes. I started to pull mine out of spite, just to give the data collectors the finger, LOL. I still may one day, if I get bored... I mean, I have zero use for the app and don't care one bit if my truck stops communicating with the mothership.Thank you for that rallyshark ,I want keep that in mind regarding fuse 11,
I hope I understand correctly that I donāt need that or Iāll look into it if I do, Iām retired and only drive it for 5 miles maybe eight a 10 some days to the coffee shop and so
I agree with so much of what you're saying. This whole thing makes me mad, especially since I've always been a huge Ford guy. Its like, how am I supposed to support a company that can't even make a battery function properly. That is one of the most basic functions in a vehicle. It makes it worse, when we know damn well Ford could fix the issue and are aware of why it is happeningSorry. I didn't buy a new vehicle to be blissfully unaware of an issue that will leave me stranded once I become aware of it. That's kinda the point. If this was some third person owned vehicle with 130+k on it... Ok, I'd expect to test the battery and probably replace it when buying it.
It's a great little truck for what it is, but too many people feel it's just not worth the heartache. Lots of people who love their truck report this issue and it's far more than just the Mavericks too... So it is in fact a widespread FORD problem. They have never addressed the issue publicly and they don't care to. Doesn't exactly instill confidence.
I want to clarify that my reason for uninstalling the app was in the hopes it helped. It hasn't. I monitor the battery as well and it's been very low 11 volts constantly - again, non-dome lights, seat warmers and what also appears to be the wiper heaters (just noticed this thanks to the cold). I'm also guessing no heated mirrors but I'll have to confirm it. That's a lot of features being disabled that people pay extra money for.
I had the worst case scenario with my previous Escape Hybrid, multiple times. Does my EB Maverick still start? Yes. But I paid for a truck that has dome lights and other features when I open the doors lol. If it's this much of a problem when it's new, it won't get any better over the life of ownership. I'm not buying new batteries every couple years and I want a warm butt during Montana winters. If the Maverick can't give me those things that I paid for, then I'll find another vehicle that can. If I didn't want the features I would have just bought an XL, but I like the added safety features of the Lariat too so that was another reason I got it.
Honestly most of my anger from the issue is sympathetic towards those that have had the issue. When I had my Escape I had a second vehicle. It wasn't the end of the world, but it shouldn't happen either... But far too many people are paying these prices for unreliable vehicles and it's a damn shame. I personally enjoy a majority of FORD's as well, and they have been a majority of vehicles I've owned, but at this rate I'm not so sure anymore. I personally don't trust any of them anymore.I agree with so much of what you're saying. This whole thing makes me mad, especially since I've always been a huge Ford guy. It makes it worse, when we know damn well Ford could fix the issue and are aware of why it is happeningI'm fortunate that I haven't had any issues yet, likely due to how much I drive. It still pisses me off, because there's no excuse for it on Ford's part. The Maverick is such an awesome little truck with it's reputation being ruined by bean counters and laziness at Ford. I really hope someone manages to get a class action going on this to make Ford finally do something. That in itself is a sad thing, when that is what it takes to make a company do the right thing(maybe).
I agree with you 100 percent, I have owned many Fords, my trade in was a 2017 Ford Edge Sport, never any issues over 6 years. Cannot continue to stress over 12 volt battery issues, this is my first Hybrid, so very bad impression so far. I love the Maverick, it is great small truck, but Ford must solve this issue - NOW!I agree with so much of what you're saying.
