Question regarding Side XL/XLT/LARIAT badge

Has anyone tried removing the model, XL etc to have it blank or available to personalize. I've made so many changes to my XL, figured she's not XL worthy anymore.

Must be pretty easy. I saw an XL that was changed to “Poverty Edition”

It's an XL.

You've just added your own XL Lariat package.

True true. But wanted to maybe name it something unique.. Like above
stated. " " Edition or something in its place.

I turned my XL to a Turbo Special Edition. Got these off of Ebay. Put them on the back too!. Note the little F-50 on the lower right hand side of the tailgate for a joke.

Ok ok. That's exactly what I was talking about minus that I was curious if anyone removed the XL. Then put Special Edition in its place let's say.

I could be wrong but that side fender winglet is an all-one piece either imprinted with XL/XLT/LARIAT. I have a reflector insert in mine.

to blank it out you would have to either go with the hard cover or use a grinder (w/e tool to use) to grind off the lettering.

For me I’ll just plasti-dip or paint mine when I’m ready to do mine.
