Not enough space to use angled Fuse Tap

I'm attempting to wire in a subwoofer and I've seen other say they use Fuse 6 for the Turn-On Wire. I purchased some fuse taps to do the same thing, but the problem I'm running into is that due to the angle of the Fuse Tap it won't fit. Both sides of the fuse have something that prevents the fuse tap to make contact. I can't find any that don't have a 90 degree angle. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Solder a pigtail directly to the fuse test point on top.

Or just use Fuse 3.

Fuse 6 is technically better since it functions on the retained power circuit (stays powered after key off until door opened) like the radio, but the location is not ideal unless you use a soldered style fuse piggyback with an in-line.

For my dash cam I used a Micro3 tap for switched and a pigtail fuse for hot.

I've used these before. Tab can be folded almost flat after plugging in.

I can't remember which ones I used, but they are both right angle.

Those are good for messing up the terminals in the BCM.

I ain't gonna say what I did, but we'll just say it's a similar solution to mini fuse tapper kit without the kit

Micro3 are the triple leg fuses used in some slots.

I have not personally confirmed it but my homework indicates that #6 is a micro 2.

I am hoping to find these type for sale at an auto parts store. I only need one and will buy one or two more as back up just in case.
