I looked at www.ford.com every night for a couple weeks. They tell you when a car arrives at a dealer. I saw a car come in, called dealer in the am, and they held it until I got there about 2PM. Now it is in my driveway.

I found a Atlas Blue XLT, and they sold it as i was 10 min away. I found another Azure blue, and it was Sold after driving 45 min. I called multiple dealerships, and found this black XLT, and the salesguy hid it in the back for me as i was an hour away. Mavericks sell like hotcakes.

In November I found two XLTs that had been shipped to an area dealer. A black and Alto Blue both the same with the packages I wanted. They told me on the phone the Alto Blue (which I preferred) was just sold but they would hold the Black one for me. They were expected in a week or two. Told them I'd drive there the next day. Went the next day and the couple that bought the Alto wanted to switch to the Black. Perfect. Bought the Alto Blue. It came in an hour after I left the dealer. Picked it up the next day.
I did the same three years ago with my Bronco Sport. Wait for ordering was a year+. Found one that had already been shipped to the dealer. Had to wait two weeks for that one to arrive.

The first blue one i wanted was loaded with every single option and was only $31,400
I was really bummed.
