Hey everyone. My Wrangler 4xe lease was up soon so I went to test drive a Mach E over the weekend. This Maverick sitting in the showroom. I was on the fence about the Mach E. I was trying to take advantage on the deals on 23s they have going now but I wasn’t I fan of the panoramic roof on the only extended range awd they had on the lot. I hadn’t considered Mavericks but I figured it was comparable to the cuvs I was also considering with the added benefit of a bed. So I test drove it and loved it. I loved the simplicity of it. This one had copilot and the tow package so the only thing that I wanted was heated seats. I think the dealer just wanted to get me off the lot so they agreed to have an installer come in and put them in afterwards. So I took it and handed in the Jeep’s keys. Ford got the vehicle weight and power ratio right with this little truck. And the highway mileage (what I mostly do) beats what my total mileage factoring the ev range on my 4xe so it’s a win win.

I am not sure what my plans are for this truck are yet but my initial vision when I first saw this truck was sport truck. So I may throw on some gripper tires, a tune and some suspension tweaks. I offloaded less and less with my wranglers and by the time I got my last one I was just doing beach driving. I’m not sure if the awd in the maverick can handle that but I may try it out later this summer. Anyway I have I lot of learning to do from you guys and I’m looking forward to it!

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on your new Maverick. It looks great. I'm a little biased though so take this with a grain of salt. I think it looks better than any jeep I ever saw. Hope you enjoy your new truck for many years to come.

Thanks I hope so too!… No worries I don’t have one anymore. I was hoping the Bronco would put downward pressure on their prices but it seems stalantis is trying to take the brand upscale. Needless to say I didn’t consider any of their vehicles this time.
