Anyone have issue with AAWireless?

Worked great when it was in the F150, but not so great in the Maverick. In the Maverick it randomly connects and when it does actually connect it works as advertised.

I've uninstalled the software from phone and reinstalled. Cleared the cache, data, reset app, and AAwireless unit itself, with no success.

Mine mostly works great.
I've encountered a few issues. I'm not sure if these are the Mav's fault or AAWireless. Streaming audio from Android Auto over wireless sometimes stutters. Sometimes I get a message that AA can't start without me unlocking my phone. This is rare and very inconsistent. AA will drop sometimes, again rare. Switching between Android Auto and radio can sometimes be an issue. 95% of the time it works fine. Sometimes, the radio will be turned "OFF" but AA will work fine. Nothing seems to resolve this other than resetting the radio(hold power and next track).

I like how quickly AA connects and loads. I would buy another AAWireless dongle the same day if mine went missing.

Before moving it over to the Maverick I would have said the same thing.

Not sure if this is relevant to the OP issues, but If your phone recently updated to Android 14 it is confirmed to break Wireless Android Auto. The only confirmed fix it to reset your phone to Android 13. Google is aware but as of right now there is NO FIX. Sorry if this is not what is happening. Just was having issues with mine on 3 different Android Auto (Including the motorola) And did some searching and yup; I was upgraded last night to Android 14.

I've not noticed any change in functionality with 14, but then I have a Pixel phone.

I also have a Pixel 6 with Android 14 and have had no issues. I use a Motorola M1A for the wireless.

Connects evey time and hasn't hiccup'd yet.

Weird how it's so random.

The one issue I have is that if I shut off the truck and come back after grabbing something quick. I get a error message that the device is not functioning and need to unplug and re-plug. Think it is because the USB is still on for a while after shutting off.

No issues for me, on a pixel 7 running android 14.. I have not updated the AA wireless software on my phone tho, and am still on version 2.2.0... I know version 3.2.1 is available but I thought I read it was still in beta, and had the updates for beta turned off.. Everytime I turn on the truck I'll connect without problems..

My Samsung phone recently upgraded to Android 14. I was having problem with it disconnecting from AAWireless firmware 3.0. So I upgraded to the latest firmware 3.2.1 and it seems to be better.

But the light on the AAWireless is solid blue not the solid green as it is supposed to be .

Pixel 6a here, mine works fine 90% of the time, but every once in a while I have to "turn it off and on again" by unplugging the AA.
