Just got on oil change at my local dealership. They offered this up for some winter rims/tires. I'm currently running all seasons. Price is CAD.

Thoughts? I have no idea if this is a good deal or not.

I bet tire shops will have better prices.
I personally buy used off FB marketplace/Kijiji and end up finding better deals.

I recently sold maverick xlt oem wheels and tires that were used 2 months for 1050 and had a lot of messages and offers of people wanting me to snake my current buyer for more money. My guess is that it was worth ~1300.

Not a bad price. For comparison, Tire Rack package $1,217.56 plus tax.
For not much more you can upgrade to alloy wheels.

Assuming you live in a winter snow zone and you frequently need to be out and about driving most every day. I believe vehicle tires are the cheapest kind of insurance against slippery mishaps and collisions. Check specifics between your dealer’s tire deals against internet prices and tire shops. Also check winter tire comparisons performance. Be safe out there.

It’s not a bad price, I installed Toyo observe g3 ice studded tires on mine. These are a bit noisy with the studs but packed snow/ice driving is very good. If you do a lot of highway/higher speed driving I would recommend the Michelin x-ice tires. They are very quiet, track well in all conditions and will likely ride better than the factory all season tires.

Yea those wheels are desirable and not easy to find. They are the only reason to consider the XLT trim in my opinion. I call the XLT trim the “2K wheel package” because it used to cost $2,000 over the XL trim.

Ford parts has them listed over $1k each.

I don’t do FB so eventually I’ll see a set in Craig’s list or eBay I suppose.

Agreed, very fair given the extra convenience of having it all done in one stop. If you were planning to do a winter tire/wheel package anyway, I'd take this offer with the Blizzaks.
