1 year, 5 days and 50k miles later......

Still loving this truck. There's alot of folks that posted detailed reviews of their Maverick recently so I'm just going to echo everything good they said. It's perfect for me.
When i had my yearly state safety inspecting done recently at the dealership, the service advisor was impressed with how well it's holding up, esp the tires. I've only rotated it once. I haven't had any of the recalls or TSBs done yet. Someday....
I feel bad for you guys who have alot less mileage that are having issues with yours. This really is a great truck.
Only couple complaints are the Ford Trifold Tonneau. Dealer sold it to me as leak proof. Well, IT IS NOT. I've seen a few mods other folks have posted here. I will try those in the spring.
Second is the visor. I'm short and I ride low. I'm sure there are some here that can relate.

Here are some recent pics.

Rare but I do have the infotainment freezing problem. Google Maps would just freeze so I unplug the cable and plug it back in. That, somehow, resets it. Can't remember the last time that happened though.

I want to go with the xlt trim level but I know those freezing issues would drive me insane. Just annoying I have to go to a lariat to get the sync 3 system. If you had to do it again would you stick with the xlt?

If the XL came with cruise control when I ordered back in Aug '21, I would have been fine with it.

Does it look lowered? It's not. Makes me want to everytime I see a lowered Mav here. I grew up in the low rider era of the 80s. Maybe when all the warranty runs out.
I did have a lowered '82 Celica Hatchback. Then an '86 RX7. Lowered that too. Had alot of fun in those cars.

4 months and 4000 miles and no freeze ups of the XLT infotainment center.

I've only had the Sync3 system freeze up once in 10 months, and that was a really cold day. Screen was black, and no response to controls. Worked fine later that day.

Wow, never noticed it before but there it is. Wonder why they don't coat that part.
Did they spray over the tie down channel holes or did they plug those to keep the threads clean?. Do the cubby covers get sprayed or do they take those off before spraying?

There are many others like it but....
OH WAAAAAAIT..... THERE AREN'T MANY OTHERS LIKE IT. 🤣 Just kidding guys. Been driving it for a week now and have put in over 1k miles already. Consistently getting 42MPG. Had the SIBL done at the dealer today. Next week is the hard trifold tonneau cover and the window deflectors
It's a XLT with CP360, 400w inverter and full size spare. When I placed the order back in August, the sales rep told me to get the SIBL and tonneau cover done there at the dealer instead of at the factory. Looking back, I'm glad he suggested that. If not, I'd still be waiting too.

UPDATE: See post# 28

I like your bed storage tray, have you documented it on the forum anywhere? Would you care to post some build photos? Is it bolted down or are there counter weights at the front?

Thanks. No, I did not document it because there are a ton of awesome YouTube videos on this. If you're interested, just search DIY PICKUP pull out tray.

Still runs great and continues to get 40+ mpg. She's holding up fine but does look a little rough with the dent when a branch fell on her during a storm. Also, I don't know when it happened but I must have driven on a wet road paint. She has some white spots on her. I have stuff to get it off but haven't taken the time. It's all over in the wheel wells.
Lots of unavoidable chips on the paint in the bumper and a few on the windshield.
Eeeevry now and then, the transition from ICE to electric is not as smooth when slowing down to a stop. It's as if it's not sure whether it wants to stay in ice or electric.
The transmission fluid leak is still there even after spending $500 at the dealer trying to get it fixed. They replaced orings/gasket in the cooling lines. It's not as bad as it was though.

And oh yeah, still on original Continentals. Will get it replaced in a couple weeks because I know it will not pass the state safety inspection next month.

I've done all the oil changes. Last one was at 98k. Oil meter showed 25% left. Before that was at 87,926. I sent an oil sample from the last one for analysis. Will post here when the result comes in. I also did a trans drain and fill at 61k miles. Will do another one around 120k.
All in all, still loving my Maverick.
