Can't see me being affected by this... My build week starts tomorrow.

Even if the trains are still allowed to enter the US, there are plenty of other reasons your build and delivery will be delayed. My build STARTED week of Nov 13, and to this day it is still apparently not finished being built, even though it is a basic XLT ecoboost. I hope that doesn't happen to your truck, but MANY of us with build weeks 11/13 and on are in similar situations right now. There doesn't seem to be any answer as to what is going on with our trucks or why they are not fully built or, if they were built, why the tracker doesn't show that and they are still sitting at the factory a month later still not shipped. Frustrating.

Mine passed through Nogales south of Tucson. No where near Eagle Pass or El Paso Texas. Not sure they even pass through those 2 locations.

Are you in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, or Amherst, Nova Scotia area. CA 65 is Moncton (convoy).

My Truck is still in Mexico since being built last month. So, there is certainly a delay. I ordered it July 18. I haven’t been waiting much time at all compared to so many of you. I will continue to be patient. Time goes fast at my age. 🙂

Right and many have even been "almost built" (Ford email) for a couple of weeks now. I get the vision of a small chip missing and rest of truck sitting already done...... I mean you would think Ford wants revenue....unless they are managing for a bad quarter.....

We will see... I literally ordered my Maverick from the very first dealership in the United States that a Maverick will pass by (Horne Ford in Nogales, Arizona), whether that is train or semi...

two weeks delay for me. Originally would get here the coldest month of the year, worse time to break in the engine and in the middle of salt season. I can happily wait.

With all the folks crossing over from Mexico, you'd think Ford would just have some of them drive a few Mavericks up here while on their way!
Ford should be building Mavericks here.

Dammit, that may explain the tortilla and bean paste residue stuck on my steering wheel when it came in, I thought it was too fast to get here by normal means.

This was posted earlier today: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/new-rail-stoppage.40806/

Appears the crossing usually uses for shipping the Mavs is not affected at this time
Never fear, someone will still take the opportunity to make it political...

See.

I thought we built a wall that Mexico paid for to stop all this?

Ah, so YOU are saying the situation at the southern border is political. Thank you for enlightening us!

I'm thinking the same thing especially since I bought a Mav (AWD) off the lot to tide me over till my new one gets here. My only problem is that I'm worrying about the bubble bursting when I try to sell my present Mav if I wait too late.

I think that a good washing and undercoating will be okay even if I get it in late January and wait till spring. I do hate the huge quantity of salt they put down here in Chicagoland. I have given up wishing that people would learn how to drive in the snow.
