You would think that the build dates would be pushed forward if they were shut down. Mine was right on schedule. And I bet it was dates 10/14. They worked 10/13 & 10/14.

Yes.****Kinda on the subject is this the only plant building the Maverick?
Mine was 10 days late. 10/4 became 10/14 for my build. And that was without any notifications. You would think that the build dates would be pushed forward if they were shut down. Mine was right on schedule.
It appears that dates are approximate or at least the plan but can be slightly altered for various reasons. I think the dates are close but far from an exact science and the tracker seems to take awhile to be updated. I am good with it because at least I have a pretty good idea how much time I have to sell my current vehicle. No complaints, I work in logistics and the supply chain is a train wreck. So, what you're saying is that the dates aren't anywhere near as accurate as we thought they would/should be. I"m not going to complain if everything gets done sooner.
That's really not how it works you know. There is always "stop and go" in an assembly line between stations, between shifts, between days sometimes due to shortages they may sit a week in the plant waiting for something. Vehicles are pulled for a defect and they sit until that particular issue is resolved. And yes this plant is the only one building the Maverick and Bronco Sport.I wouldnt want a truck built right now. They start it then come back and might forget or overlook something. I mean i dont remember exactly where i was two days ago. All this stop and go is not good.

I know some of you have the flexibility to sell your current vehicle, and I wish that I had that option. It appears that dates are approximate or at least the plan but can be slightly altered for various reasons. Yuup!Oh well add another month to wait ever you expected! Hey when it comes you'll just have more money to pay it off!!
Any shutdown, weekends, holidays etc they back build , no one doesn't complete the work at their station. We always finished 3-4 cars back. No 1/2 done. Never saw a car missing parts get through.I wouldnt want a truck built right now. They start it then come back and might forget or overlook something. I'll actually have LESS money the longer this drags out. I've already had to put a grand into my frontier over the past 3 months.Oh well add another month to wait ever you expected! Hey when it comes you'll just have more money to pay it off!!
AgreedI know some of you have the flexibility to sell your current vehicle, and I wish that I had that option.
It does seem like the supply chain is worse than originally thought. I am impatient, but I also understand the world we live in now and how everything is affected, so I just take a deep breath and put it into perspective.
My opinion, depends on your build day, mine was Friday and got pushed, earlier in the week schedules were probably made. Of course available materials will factor in everything. Expected delivery of products and actual arrival is very interesting in the current state of things.I’m not sure I buy into the work shutdowns. According to the threads, Ford was suppose to be shutdown Monday & Tuesday as well as Friday. Yet my Maverick was built this week on schedule. Received the built email this morning!
Its not lost. They're using it for the daily lunch run! Just haven't hooked up the odometer yet.I feel your pain!
My fist truck was supposed to have been built 10/4 but is still showing in production. It shown in production since 9/29.
I think it’s been lost in the factory somewhere.![]()
Now that’s Funny. Its not lost. They're using it for the daily lunch run! Just haven't hooked up the odometer yet.![]()
