All I want to know is why LEDs burn out, we were promised 20+ years out of them.

Great question!

We could drive super deep into this topic and provide plenty of examples.

However, in short explanation, there are tons of different types of LED chips that are of higher quality than others on the market.

Additionally, LEDs still produce heat like halogen bulbs and require proper heat dissipation to function for the promised life span.

We utilize the highest quality components available and design our products to be the most reliable on the market in-house here at our HQ.

I was told by a customer that when a buyer needs say 100,000 electrical components ( not talking diodes necessarily) the manufacturer makes like 1,000,000 units because the process creates units of varying quality and out off the 1,000,000 they are tested to meet the specifications required by the buyer. Is that true with the diodes?

The item I would like you to come out with and sell is AMBER LED rear turn signals for our Maverick pickup.

With the existing taillight red housing, having just an amber rear bulb behind it, be pointless.

Our supplier creates giant batches of LED chips at a time. They are then tested and sorted into batches. This allows us to select from the highest quality options available for our products.

Many components have multiple suppliers. The decision comes down to overall capability, quality, and cost - some components like LED chips simply are not made in the U.S. at all.

We do our best to buy domestically whenever we can (especially with freight costs these days), and we're proud to be supporting 40+ production jobs here in the U.S. by doing all assembly in-house as seen in our facility tour video.

However, we currently only offer two headlight housings apart of our Elite Series lamp lineup.

In the future, maybe we'll transition into the tail light market but at this time our partner company Form Lighting specializes in aftermarket headlights, tail lights, and accessories!

Because if they weren't engineered to wear out the company would go out of business... they might as well lease us the light bulbs in the car - same as they are planning for heated seats and cruise control. 5$/month for headlights...
