We're looking into a kit across the board for the Ford Maverick at this time!

All I want to know is why LEDs burn out, we were promised 20+ years out of them.

I don't see LED's (at least OE stuff) burn out so much as cars come in with bad boards to the LED strips or corrosion ruining the modules and plug connections. LED's housings run cool so they don't make heat to evaporate condensation in assemblies and don't melt the snow off the lenses in the winter.

Sure, the LED's are good for another 50 years but the housing or board dissolved or rotted out from moisture. They don't tell you the fancy LED headlights cost $3500 instead of $35 for a bulb. I work on euro stuff, I know the mav is half that, but still. I can buy a cases of bulbs for $1200.

I'd rather use a quality bulb and change it once or twice for a few bucks instead of change a lamp assembly for hundreds or thousands of dollars.

I would be very interested in a kit for all of the rear facing bulbs on the Maverick Lariat. It would make it so much easier to know I’m getting the right stuff that won’t cause hyper flash.

However, our turn signal bulbs do not include resistors built in.

You will need to purchase them separately to eliminate hyperflash.

No plans here at Diode Dynamics.

We have not found reliability in bulbs with resistors built in. It's far more effective to utilize resistors separate from the bulb for proper heat dissipation and to extend the life of the LED bulb.
