I can say that if you have the app and push notifications on it worked right out of the box for me. Plugged in the alarm, locked the doors and shut the tailgate hard enough to trigger the alarm. Got message on my Apple watch within seconds. Couldn't be happier!

As a matter of fact, I was wondering the same thing which brought me to this forum. I just installed the Ford Maverick Permiter Plus and 4DTech's auto start stop eliminator. The alarm is first then the eliminator then the ODB port though I doubt it makes a difference. My only piece of advice...
