Just got my 23 Lariat hybrid.
Unlocking using the driver side door handle would not unlock the driver side rear door.
After reading posts on this site I reset the IA. It fixed the problem for two days.
Now using the driver side door handle to unlock does not unlock either rear door or the tailgate! Resetting the IA a couple of more times did nothing to correct the problem.
The passenger side door handle works as it should, unlocking all dooors and the tailgate.
I understand disconnecting the battery and reconnecting may correct the problem.
I made an appointment with the dealer to correct the problem.
(I have had trouble with the AI on our 21 Ford Edge also. I have had the rear door locks replaced on our 2011 f150 3 times aver the years!! Only my 1966 mustang has trouble free locks.)
Anybody know an easy fix for the Maverick AI locks I can pass that information on to the dealer 🙂

How exactly are you unlocking the truck with the drivers door handle? Do you mean keypad?

OP likely has a Lariat, which has a smart key, you just grab the door handle to unlock the doors. Had it on my last two cars, great, fob never leaves your pocket.

Have you checked the settings in the truck, via the steering wheel, to see what number of doors are suppose to unlock when opening the driver door by any chance? By default it should only unlock the driver door.

I dont know what IA is, but when I unlock our truck with the key fob, one click unlocks my door, a second click unlocks the rest.

Yes I was surprised when there was not sensors on the rear doors. My wife’s fusion has them on all 4 doors. I have a lariat, it unlocks all doors from either side.

That's the default, but it's easily configurable. If desired, change it to "one click unlocks all" in the truck's menu.
