I can't seem to order accessories through the app. Do I really have to go through my dealer? That would be a huge inconvenience for me
The best prices you can get are on EBay. Tailgate assist $28, Hood assist $39, Bugflector $63. All with free shipping.

I ended up (from someone's advice on here) ordering through the website, since the app didn't work. Points + 20% black Friday discount, means I got a soft tonneau from Ford for $100. Still, dealer delivery only is a huge pita. Already drove out there to find out the parts dept. Was closed. Not a big deal... just used to the convenience of amazon

Wherever you purchase it, I vote for the tailgate damper. However, if your truck is mostly transportation and you don't open the tailgate multiple times daily as I do, skip it. Second are the OEM floor trays aka all weather floor liners. I like the OEM b/c they say Mav on them.
I agree about the tailgate damper. Got ours through walmart.com and it came from Rough Country.

Maybe a bit off topic but I live in the SF Bay Area but when I try to order through the website using points, there are no dealers in my area. Any recommendations on how to order Ford parts in my area?

As in, nothing shows up or nothing close enough that you'd be willing to drive to shows up?

I noticed that not all of my local dealers are there. It's strange.

Correct. Nearest dealer is 100 miles away.

I have not completed an order yet but it didn't look like I'd have other options.
From the chat on accessories.ford.com, not all dealers participate with accessories.ford.com. The service center at the dealership I purchased from is a joke (frontierford.com). It'll be worth driving 2hrs to get a dealer who cares.

At parts.ford.com it appears you can ship to yourself. You pick a dealer but when it comes to shipping, in addition to pick up, you can choose a shipping method and the ability to enter your own address. I don't see an option to use points, however.

As in, you could use points if shipping to a dealer but then it went away if you wanted to ship to yourself?

During my limited test run it looked like I was going to be able to use points but I didn't get to a point where I could change shipping destination from the dealer to me.

My dealer will order accessories for me, give me a discount and I can pay with points. I know that doesn't help you, but just FYI.

I vote for the carpeted bed mat. Keeps the both the bed and whatever you put it in cushioned not to mention your knees.

Never had one. Does it hold water (rain) for an extended time? My knees would like the soft touch.
